the superwide reflector from ms is way better. point blank. they do have way better light spread due to having binds along the "wing" metal part for even spread. Also you do not have to pull the glass out from the side they have two hinges so you can clean the glass and change bulbs easier with a simple easy clamp on the frount. sealed air tight with a rubber gasket. Besides that it has an adjustable socket that allows you to center the arc tube directly in the center of your reflector.
What do you do when you want to use a bulb that is less than a 1000w in this reflector? well ill tell you; you lose half of the reflector and it throws off the floor pattern because the little arc tube in you reflector is not alined directly in the center of the reflector like it was designed to do with a 1000w HPS bulb. With this said your going to have 15 to 20 percent of your reflector doing nothing but reflecting minimal light; in hand bringing foot candles down in certain areas of your room
@missincali85 Our initial impression on those from looking up the website based on your recommendation is they look like another chunk of metal that was not designed by a lighting engineer - so then it just comes down to warranty. We are happy to evaluate the products if you would like to arrange that with us. Or if you wish to provide information on what makes them "incomparable" please do, we are skeptical but open minded.
@Grenersdotcom they look like another chunk of metal that was not designed by a lighting engineer ===== HAHAHA want to have a knowledge battle on lighting....
so then it just comes down to warranty===== twenty yr warranty on reflectors, 5 on ballasts, 1 on lamps...
