  • It appears easier to play fast passages on the Greek Bouzouki rather than the Octave Mandolin for instance?

  • Do the thinner strings go above the thicker strings?

  • The typical style for tuning 8 string bouzouki is

    Doh = CC (top)

    Fa = FF

    La = AA

    Re = DD (bottom)

    But there are many other styles of tuning

    eg.

    6 string is tuned D A D
