I'm having a VERY hard time believing that these players has never played the game before. Sure, they make some noobish mistakes and are not exceptionally good, but I have yet to see a new player being able to roll, shortjump(with last minute attacks, used by the Sheikplayer), edgehog, tilt and, to a certain degree, effectively use Sheiks vanish. All these techniques demands that you have a basic sense of control on the smash controlset. New players can't do this.
If they have another pokemon trainer in smash bros. i bet the pokemon will be Feraligator, Quilava, and Chikorita, and it's not because i like those pokemon it's just because of the gold and silver remakes and the similarities in the physique of Feraligator and Charizard.
it will probly be may.. they need more girls cause there are only about 5 girls out of 35 characters so its a bit sexist.. also blaziken is fighting which fits this game and treeko is fast and marhomp or whatever is a bit of a problmen but they would think of something.

So if they do decide to make a remake of gold and silver Gold/Crystal will be the next pokemon trainer in the next smash bros. game. But i'm not saying that Crystal (the girl trainer from GSC) won't be the one to be pokemon trainer.
Ivysaur sounds very feminine in the japanese version compared to the english version which is very deep voiced. Just thought I'd make that note. Nice vid though.:)

charizard is.. he is the 4th fastest ( in the sense of movement not moves) his smash move has high ko potensail (cant spell0 and his rocksmash can do 45% at a time making him the best character in the game his flaw is he has no down b move.
Perhaps in Melee, Level nines were easy. In Brawl the AI has been beefed up quite dramatically. Although they are not "Hard" to seasoned smashers. The level Nines play more like human opponents, therefore making them more useful to practice on. And I agree Sheik has been nerfed in brawl but even a person with a shit character can kick a top tiers ass if their good. =]
no, she doesn't. i know she doesn't because i can kill a team of level 9's against me as Sheik. She's not the best, and she definitely got powered-down, but she by no means sucks. Perhaps you just need to play her better?
Shiek is not the same. She has lost her combo ability, at least its not as near good as melee. Shiek's secret weapon was her fast reaction comboing, too bad it sucks now...

i'd survive i would still use sheik as long as the up and down smashes are still just as strong, the arial move is a blow and hopefully your right that theyve just used sheik improperly, hopefully sheiks chain grab will still work too

wow that was complete garbage. i dont even think the guy playing with the pokemon trainer knows he has a killer down smash!!! and does not use it, nor did he even use rock smash. he pretty much stayed in place a threw flames at the guy. if he had any skill he would have used all 3 pokemon instead of just 2. and thats just my advise from yours truly(the best pokemon trainer)

I love the sound effects in this game. Very crisp, clear, and powerful-sounding. The music is superb, as well. I'm so excited for this game.
Also, I noticed that Sheik's Up + B seems to travel farther. Maybe it's just the camera zooming in, but it really does seem like Sheik can move further with the move, now.
I agree about the sound. When a Poké Ball opens, for example, it's so crisp and clean. The visuals and audio in this game are so amazing... I'm sure the gameplay is as well. I can't wait to play it. *_*
