i laughed so hard at corey getting home & pretending like his parents didnt see him i watched it again and realized he sounds very italian when he says " ay mommy daddyy"
Eric got the option to be a father twice...I hope Ryan has a father, and Tommy is doing great with his family, and I hope Eric get to be the father he always wanted to be.
eric has had the most chances to go back and not go to college or move forward with his life. glad through the whole show he moves forward anyway. this ep. isn't about bailing on a single parent, its about being all you can be FIRST and live up to your potential before then settling down before you're ready

everyone is saying "eric is so cool" and "such a great guy", but when you think about it, he gave that kids hopes up for a father figure and ran away when the preasure got too real. Yea.....GREAT dad
@ninejayriot U know what, being a step parent isn't as easy as being a parent to ur own flesh & blood. Eric didn't run when it got too "real" he realized exactly what Kelly said, just because she's a mom doesn't mean he has to be a dad. It's really hard knowing your boundaries and rights with someone else child. He was doing what he thought was best, which is what any first time parent would do.
If u listen to what Eric says to Cory when he gets home, maybe u'd understand what Eric did & why
@ninejayriot well that is y most single parents do not let there bf gf meet there kids until its serious becuz if it dont work out and eric is only 19 he did the right thing better to get out now and leave then a year later
can anybody tell me about the other episode involving eric and a little boy. i think its like eric is volunteering to be santa and he meets a boy who asks for parents for christmas? if anyone could tell me i'd really appreciate it :)
the thing with eric is people say that they wish his character wasnt made to be so stupid towards the end.
But the whole way through he was always stupid when it came to books and studying, but he was always brilliant with life issues and the important things concerning his family and friends.
I wonder what Kelly's story is. I always assumed she got pregnant before marriage(We all know how common that is in this day and age) and the father is estranged, but she says Ryan lost something. Apparently she's a young widow or divorc'e.
@JDUB73EB just because they werent married doesnt mean he didnt lose a father. a father is a father, young old, married or not. and ryan lost his father to death, fear, or any number of things
Dang Mr Matthews is rockin some chuck taylors

Role reversal, Eris is sensible for the most part, but Cory is an idiot in this episode.

This episode is way better than the entirety of Secret Life or any of those others shows.
LMAO at Cory trying to sneak in.
I love Eric. I actually kinda like that they made his character goofy--it makes the serious Eric all the more amazing :)
