Playing this gig on David's show, you can see why it's kind of "undercontrolled" by Late Night; by now, the band is starting to fall apart from alcohol and band differences: the guitar solo is played by a bassist...Kelly can't seem to keep up with Kim's vocal, the drummer is playing off to the side, the guitar rythyme is played by Felicia...and Josephine DOESN'T look very thrilled!!!...
The only good thing I see out of this is Kelly and Kim's good looks!
Just for the record, this is actually from Late Show With David Letterman, not Late Nite. Late Nite was the show that he did on NBC, but this is definitely from after he went to CBS. You can tell because of the horn section (who don't play on this song, but they're back there) and Felicia Collins (the African American guitarist playing the white Steinberger), who weren't in the house band on the NBC show.
I actually remember seeing this back when it first aired. Thanks for posting it.
wicked Kims vocals are so amazing

Messed up or not, or how far they were on the decline, to have your song butchered by the Paul Schafer band is pretty awesome.

Kelley is obviously on something, she's stumbling around like a fool.
