so that was a 120mhz with a 1.6GB hard drive.

Went to this other computer place

and got a scsi cd-r burner.

That was probably around $500

Uninstalled the nec merlin helper program

and had 1GB room clear once win95 was booted. To burn a cd that would take 700MB

of wav files so had 300MB left of file

storage on the hard drive. Pretty tight

ship to burn a cd back then. lol.

These responses are bullshit. Future Shop is a Canadian store, not an American one. That Compaq 's price was in 1997 CANADIAN DOLLARS. The amount in USD was lower (back when our dollar was worth something). Unfortunately, Canadians also have high tax rates to worry about.

Working on commission if I dont find you exactly what you need and want, and it gets returned it comes right back out of my paycheck. So no its not more important to me to find you a higher paying item its way more important to me to see you happy.
