I hadn't realized it before hearing this adaptation, but Advance Wars actually has some really challenging music (in terms of melody/difficulty of performing the music). I think you did well with it.

Not bad. I am usually terribly let down by covers of vg music, but this is pretty good. I don't know if you're using exactly the same tempo as in the original, but regardless, you should try recording a faster version of this.

Unfortunately, there aren't any tabs, I just did it by ear. It it helps though, the song is in A Minor. Once you know that, and if you know your scales, the lead guitar just comes naturally.

Also, rhythm power chord progression is something like

A, C, D, /E\D/E\D

A, C, G

repeat

Then the other part of rhythm is

A, lick#1

D, lick#2

For any picked/fingered bass line, I'll try to play it on my real bass, but for any slap bass lines (like most parts of Advance Wars songs) I'll usually use Trilogy and run it through some of my guitar stuff
