Reinstalling Laptop Scisor Keys,

one of my keys came off and the metal part that the scisscor attaches to broke while my genius brother was "fixing" it does anyone know if i have to replace my whole keyboard or what?

what do you do when the little scisor piece thing is like in two pieces some how my dog jumped up and riped the key off with her toe and i cant get the key back on because of it (its the alt x and back arrow key)

Its easy to do, If you look carefully at them, you can see theyy have a small outcrop and indentation, Like a hinge. THey lock together and will look like the white piece on my keyboard. It will slide onto the keyboard on one side and click in on the other, very much like how the key goes on it too!

Awhile ago at a relatives house.. my tab key came off in a ridiculous manner (I passed someone a pillow while my laptop was on my lap and the frilly part brushed my keyboard and somehow ripped it off!!!) I've been living w/o a tab key for so long.. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to reattatch the confounded thing! Thank you so much!! ^^

Does this same philosophy work for the enter key? There was like something stuck under my enter key and right now I can't put it back in. It has like a metal bar that's snaps on to the enter key. when ever I snap the key back in, it sits completely flat on the laptop as if i'm infinetly pressing enter. Do you know how to fix that?

Yes, Sorry for the late response, Its a little more complicated, Ok SayYou are looking at the Enter Key normally, Flip it over, The bar should be joining the key and facing you with the unjoined side, So to speak its a C, The gap should be facing you. Now, set it just below where it mounts so it is sitting un-even and appears to be slding under the Shift key, Now Slide it up towards the backslash key and push down to snap it in. I will make a video if you can not understand Via my description.

Well, I guess that's because you do not have the philosophy of a Round Peg in a Round hole, and a Square Block in a Square hole....
