As for the LED's, it's doable, but not what I did. I secured them in because her eyes are intended to be green.

I tried making a partial fursuit once, but I stopped at the head structure because I had trouble making the eyes and nose under $50.

I'm sorry it's probably not much help now, but... well, for future reference, Crayola Model Magic is fairly cheap, lightweight, and can be good for nose and tearduct structures. Eyes can be made with decorative glass drops, or, better yet, halved plastic ornaments or clear bouncy balls. They're pretty cheap.

Oh, I can get around with it, but I have no vision to the sides, or directly in front of myself. I have to cock my head to the side a lot... but I can roam around, and the glowing eyes actually help in the dark.
