  • there will be a 4gb, an 8gb, and a 16gb model.

  • do want

  • I think you mean 'Do yes want'. Or maybe 'wanty me doey'? Ahh, gotta love the british.

  • ok, so the thing has an "old" pentium M clocked at 900mhz --512 RAM and multiple different size flash storage (no hdd)

  • TOO SHORT (and doesn't show anything). It seems great, but vid was a letdown. More! MORE! :)

  • Sorry, that's all the footage I got... If it had been more than I would have certainly posted it! :-)

  • Is the backlight LED or CCF. Because if it is CCF then it will be replaced by the users with LED for better battery life right out of the gate. I know I will. I hope at this price that these will be the xmods for adults of the 21st century, AKA screen upgrades, killer hacks (I know I want to buy one to disassemble and put in an old DVD player to create a media PC/HTPC). Does anyone yet know if it is the A100 or a "real" processor in it, I hope it has enough processing power.

  • Uhh... You have heard of Mini-ITX right, Mr. Adult of the 21st Century?

  • Yes, I have built 3. In my R/C analogy they are more like a Kyosho Mini-Z or an Iwaver. The xMods are a much cheaper toy and are much better known because of the cheap price and availability. A real Intel chip is much more powerful than VIA. This whole system will be $200. A comparable VIA system (In processing power) is $300-400 just for the board, forget a monitor, keyboard, mouse and RAM/HDD and OS. I bet the board in this is Pico- or Nano-ITX sized btw, if extreme mods are your thing.
