  • the bigfoot is said to be the extinct gigantopithecus but the gigantopithecus was only found in asia and on the asian coastlines isnt that weird

  • Nice song choice

  • why does all the cool stuff have to be extinct? :(

  • @1996chickenman thats what i thought but then most of the stuff would kill us

  • The condor is larger than quoted. There's a zoo specimen right here on YouTube that's over eleven feet, and no mention is made of it being the record...

  • Is it not better to see the animals in the wild and in peace instead catched or death?

  • Amazing videos MAN. I also liked how you compared most of the animals with humans. Keep up the good vids i mean AMAZING videos.

  • The title drew me to this post, and the Nickelback sent me running 3 seconds into it.

  • Leedsithyus:Biggest fish , Megalodon: Biggest predatory fish, biggest oredator, biggest shark

  • Biggest: Blue whale Longest: Lion manejellyfish Tallest:giraffe

  • are giant squid real or a legend

  • yes, giant sguid really exists, an dnot uncmmon. there is even a new squid species, colossal squid which is bigger than giant squid. colossal squid is currently the largest invertebrate ever. with maximum length (base on a specimen) is 14 meters

  • @leoapp1223 this is actually not accurate because people have found a dead giant squid of 30 meters in length on the coast of chile

  • @SecretLars

i think it's not yet confirmed by animal experts? just wait and see

  • @leoapp1223 this happened in like 2007 and they have deducted that it was a 12 meter long squid like invertebrate. I think that's all you need to declare that it was a giant squid

  • Comment removed

  • @leoapp1223 wow dude. You got the giant squid wrong? Wow now I have to throw out all the stupid bullshit I watched from this. Fact check your shit retard. faculty.washington. edu/chudler/invert.html

  • @leoapp1223 this is actually not accurate because people have found a dead giant squid of 30 meters in length on the coast of Chile

  • @leoapp1223 have you seen monster quest? they caught a squid on cam that is believed to be around 108ft! long, makes you think..

  • @SlashBlaster is a legend i feg or it can be real

  • are collosal sotong (squid in singapore lauguage) alive?

  • I'm Indonesian, and sotong is actually the other name for cuttlefish, not squid. cuttlefish is closely related to squid, with shorter tentacles, its maximum size is only 50 cm.

    Collosal squid still exists.

  • @leoapp1223 funny i'am 75% indonesian

  • @cidjero1

oh really? who is Indonesian? your mom or dad?

  • @cidjero1 both and the rest of my familie but stupidly i live in holland i wish i lived in indonesia

  • The Goliath Frog is amzingly HUGE!

  • Hm? Where is giant pacific octopus

  • the largest octopus species ever measured was only 7 m. colossal squid is much larger and longer.

  • Are capybaras legal pet?

  • no

  • @leoapp1223 is this sorta stuff a interest of yours animals and such?

  • yes, i love learning animal stuff =)

  • Seether sounds like Chris jerico

  • Why were animals so much bigger back then? Im glad though, hate to go on a hike and see 3:08 next to me. Or the beach and accidently step on 3:23. Damn...

  • Maybe because there were much larger areas to live, before human invasion. especially for land animals. for marine animals, some animals remains very big until now, like blue whale and giant squid because. ocean is a very large area.

  • hey, is that creed in the video, what's the title of the song?

    i like it

  • the song is Driven Under by Seether

  • @leoapp1223 okay thanks , good audio

  • very interesante!!

  • i has teh theory... the first creature the monkey thing is still alive and people are mistaking it for sasqatch

  • @GPWfiles you mean the gorrila?

  • the largest spider is called a dock spider just sayin

  • It's not. Goliath birtheater is bigger (by mass) and Giant huntsman spider is bigger (by legspan, 30 cm)

the largest dock spider has legspan only 8 cm

  • that kaluga would be something ud see on that show "river monsters" that show abut the guy going around the world tryin to catch the biggest freshwater fish/eels etc.. that are native to that area

  • I don't know if it's true or not, I read where they speculated the reason why these creatures were so big is because the oxygen levels were higher back then.

  • Mankind wouldn't be screwed, we got fuckin thumbs!

  • omg

  • kelenken is bigger than brontornis

  • Kelenken has the largest skull among any birds, and it's claimed to reach height 3 m. the length of a part of leg bone (tarsometararsus) is longer than brontornis.but full fossil hasn't been found yet, so it's still rough estimation.

  • most of are fake animals cant belive

  • all of these are real. of course prehistoric/extinct species are studied only from fossils so size can be estimated. for living species, all of them still exist (some even appeared on Record book). you must search all of these to find out all of these are real. i'm an animal lover, i've learned many things related to giant animals. these are not surprising for me.

  • i remember i read somewhere that some scientest sent a radio thing im not sure what it was, but it recorded souns from animals deep in the ocean and it recorded a sound that only an animal larger than a whale could make and it did match the sound of underwater vlocanoes or anything like that, it was an animal bigger than whales!!!

  • yes, check out my other video, top 12 loudest animals. you'll be very surprised to know what animal can make louder sound than whale =) It's a pistol shrimp, A SHRIMP!

  • if all of these animals were still alive mankind would be screwed

  • @brandonholtuin no we could shoot the fuck outa all dem fucking animals =)

  • the wingspan record of a living bird it's 3,54 mt of Diomedea exulans

  • some of those look really fake

  • well, of course we have fossils as evidences of their existence

  • @leoapp1223 that's right...good video

  • it would be amazing, yet terrifying if dinosaurs were still alive

  • love this vid

  • actually the giant squid is bigger than a collosal squid or am I confused and there the same thing?......IM not sure

  • Unlike the giant squid, whose arms and tentacles only have suckers lined with small teeth, the Colossal Squid's limbs are also equipped with sharp hooks: some swiveling, others three-pointed. Its body is wider and stouter, and therefore heavier, than that of the giant squid. Colossal Squids are believed to have a longer mantle than giant squids, although their tentacles are shorter. Collosal squid is currently the largest invertebrate ever, also has the largest eyes ever among animals

  • @leoapp1223 Thanks I usually know my facts Its just I was having a brain fart.

  • Imagine..Largest Dick in the world....xNinjaEdge.....

  • There is no proof gigantopitecus truely existed => Name me just one (natio geographic, or other) then i will believe you.

  • at :13 we see a wonderful example of the Mangani. This particular individual is a giant of the species with an average height approximately 2 m.

  • 1:063:13 i want one

  • 1:06 was that bird eating a fucking brauntasuares??????!!!!! bullshit!!!

  • why is it that the largest animals are all extinct? i mean why could't they survive? was it the ice age?

  • whats the name of the song in backround ?

  • Driven Under by Seether

  • ummm frog lags lol

  • is the capybara is a guinea pig.

  • yes, it's closest living relative is guinea pig. capybara is the largest rodent right now

  • great video!

  • Evolution is a lie!

  • @Wonderkid44 do you have a dog? if you have a dog take a long hard look at him and then tell me that evolution is a lie

  • @EricFishaaa1369 I was joking, just pointing out the fact that humans have got slightly smaller and weaker compared to our ancestors. But we don't need the strength and speed now do we.

  • @Wonderkid44 our brains make up for our strength but we still have the basic instincts of animals whether we like to admit it or not we strive to be the best to ensure we get a suitable mate and to ensure the survival of our species the problem is we need to focus more on preserving our planet now because we are too efficient when it comes to survival and the planet is running out of resources

  • pic or didn't happen fag OP

  • dude i love your vids. please dont stop making them =)

  • wierd song choice for this vid but still a good song.

  • josephoartigas ia monesi are not extinct!!!! they were at my county fair!

  • THE CORRECT IS: "CAPIVARA" THERE ARE HERE IN BRAZIL IN FOREST AREAS =]

  • official English name is capybara, but capivara is Portuguese name ;) they can be found in Peru, Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, etc

  • excellent info. thanks

  • thx for watching =)

  • the first one looks like bigfoot

  • yes, that's why 'big foot' can be real, who knows, maybe they are real prehistoric primates called Gigantopitechus which survived from extinction

  • @leoapp1223 or maybe a subspecies of Gigantopitechus that we haven't discovered yet that are still surviving and that would also explain why sightings of "bigfoot" mostly have different charecteristics in different areas

  • @leoapp1223 OMG dude that would be totally AMAZING just thinking that some of these primates survived is just dream ^^

  • yes, prehistoric animals are truly amazing

  • @leoapp1223 that first i iwsh it was still alive it would probaby be my friend lol

  • awesome vid again dude....5 stars..

  • thx for watching =)

  • you forgot megalodon: largest predator

  • yes, megalodon is the largest shark ever, but it's not the largest predator ever, the title goes to prehistoric fish-like reptile, Shonisaurus. even it's also not the largest predatory fish ever, the title goes to sperm whale.

  • @leoapp1223 actually megalodons ARE the largest predatory fish ever. and yes i am wrong about it being the largest predator ever but biologically the sperm whale is NOT a fish. it is in fact a mammal who needs to rise to the surface to breath. also, when the sperm whale breeds, they do not lay eggs

  • ooops sorry ;p, i was drunk. ;p sperm whale is the largest predatory mammal ;p megalodon is the largest predatory fish, have you seen part 1 of this video, i included megalodon, how come i forgot ;p. this vidoe is part 2. sorry, check out part 1

  • wow man african goliath frog !!! fuck

  • giant sea scorpion is not extinct there are many photos of them that fishermen have caught

  • Sea scorpions (Eurypterid) have been extinct, the biggest species of sea scorpion (Jaekelopterus), was also the largest arthopod ever existed, with 2,5 m length. But other big arthropods like giant crabs, horshoe crabs, still exist until now.

  • @leoapp1223 I know but there is debate about it for i have seen them in cryptozoology videos a lot of times were a fisherman has caught one. I believe it to be a sea scorpion because it looks exactly the same from the tail to the claws. so maybe it can be a creature we had just thought to of died out like the mega mouth shark

  • it'll be very scary if it's true giant sea scorpions are rediscovered ;p

by the way prehistoric sea scorpions had a size range from more than 2 metres until only a few centimetres. i think smaller species may still exist, but for giant species, i don't know

  • @TheRimben I'm curious as to what you are talking about as a search on cryptozoology stories involving sea scorpions didn't reveal anything about fisherman catching them. Where are these photos you say you saw?

  • @Ryodraco I dont know it is just that i watch a lot of cryptozoology vids on youtube andi have seen pictures of fishermen with them on their bats at sea so you can lead to the conclusion they cught them

  • is that a bigfoot or something?

  • yeah, bigfoot is in fact a real extinct prehistoric animal, called Gigantopipthecus. maybe they still exist

  • great vid, but the Irish Elk had Antlers like all other members of the deer family, not horns.

  • yeah, sorry i meant antlers not horns ;p

  • what about the human giants with sceletal evidence in iraq and persia

  • they were not approved yet scientifically, hoax maybe

  • @leoapp1223 doesn't mean its a hoax. there are historical and legendary tails to support these. eg The Bible, sculpture and tails from lost cultures.

  • @hott2dogg2 however IN a lot of stories in the bible are metaphors and doesn't actually mean that there were giant humans walking around for it could be a metaphorical term to a higher stronger power.

  • @TheRimben true but also note that there were historical legends passed down in a lot of cultures who have claims of giants.

  • @hott2dogg2 sry but legendary tales and the bible are not evidence.

  • @daltondoyou4 agreed. they still cannot be dismissed.

  • @hott2dogg2 i know just the same as me saying farries exists, they are called unfalsifiable hypotheses and are therefore uselss for giving any information or supporting any theory so they can be dismissed scientificaly as uterly useless, but not concretly as ture or false.

  • @daltondoyou4 c what i mean. u dismiss without disagreeing. true there are no concrete facts but there are some truths to it. example; yesterday BBC carried a story of new finding that put the use of tools buy our forefathers at 3million yrs ago. science remain a trial and error. this said, a lot of our scientifical finding had also to do with hear say or legends.

  • @hott2dogg2 i dont realy understand what your saying, you are now on a new topic talking about discoveries based apon ancient writing? that has nothing to do with the previous discussion, but of course writtings can have truth in them, but assuming in magic (god, devil, heaven, and hell) SOULY based on writing is incorrect.

  • @daltondoyou4 dont get confused. never said anything about writing. im talking about artifacts found dating over some 3 million yrs. is that fact enough for u? moreover, fairies, goblins etc is not the topic. u simply dismiss things based on what scientist who are controled by bodies who determine things based on their interests. what im saying is that you shouldnt cancel such things as the bible or quaran as books of fiction.

  • @hott2dogg2 1. yeah radiation dating is plenty fact enough for me.

    2. yes faries goblins and whatever else magic i say is the topic, they are equivalent to the bible and quran in the way that they propose unfalsifiable hypotheses which cannot support ANY theroy and are therefore useless.

    3. scientists are controled by brains like every human not bodies

    4. and scientists own insentives are based apon new discoveries to get money, welcome to capitalism, it works.

  • @daltondoyou4 lol

ur 1,2,3&4 are very funny. this is what u believe and its up to u to ask questions. science for me is no different from the catholic church for 1000yrs when they percecuted those who fought their ideals and encouraged those who accepted them. u've agreed with me either ways that science is controlled ( 4 ) "he who pays the piper" u only get to see and know the things they allow you know while with the bible you can look for the truth yourself uncontrolled.

  • @hott2dogg2 well u are wrong if u think scientists are a group that persecute those that dont agree. there are 1000s of fields of science, u think they all work together lol. its called capitalistic insentive, they do their best for money (im sure many enjoy their job also). u act as if they pick what is in science books, they have to back it up this isent religion. also saying science and religion are "controlled" just because the brain is waht controles humans makes no sense at all.

  • @daltondoyou4

If you dont like capitalism go fuck yourself and adopt communism, we don't care.

  • @leoapp1223 do u put your hopes belief and understanding on science only?

  • Yeah Irish Elk have some sick antlers. I don't wanna be attacked by one of them. Prefer being attacked by a Scandinavian moose.

  • what about the haast eagle

  • haast eagle was the largest eagle ever existed. but it wasn't the largest flying bird or the largest predatory bird

  • Average? You talking about the average? "Eastern Lowland Gorilla, largest living primate, height RECORD: 1,82 m. This is clearly not the average, but the record.

Even I am taller than this Gorilla. Human is the largest living primate.

  • well, eastern lowland gorilla is still bigger in overall size (weight and height) but okey, if i included human, some people will complain, cos i know (based on many comments posted on my other videos), some people here don't consider humans as animals/primates

  • @leoapp1223 I know, but we are anyway.

  • Aren't humans the "largest" living primate, I mean you do list only height and Robert Wadlow was a lot taller than 1,82 m.

  • cos it's just an exception, because of excessive of growth hormones. average healthy human height is shorter. but average gigantopetichus height was higher.

  • Nice vid, no mention of the Camel Spider?

  • it's a common urban legend, that camel spider can be very huge.actually longest legspan is only 12 cm. i've included other spider which has the longest legspan (30 cm) in this video

  • Wow, It is sad how few of these animals are still living.

  • 1:37 wtf. us that an actuall picture?

  • a replica, it's extinct now. but that bird reached that height based on some fossils

  • It sucks that some of these animals and insects are extinct, but at the same time it's sort of good because I wouldn't want 5 foot insects, and 4 feet scorpions roaming near me :3

  • thanks for making this video!

  • yes, thx for watching ;)

  • :( i felt sad while im watching this....some of them are extinct already :'(

  • 3:13

scary as shit imagine being attacked by that thing??

  • image if all them extinct big bird were alive and largest rodents and larest insects and other bugs imagaine if giant sea scorpion was alive were fucked then

  • 1:22 I dont think its name is elephant bird..ive seen this before and its name is "Diatryma"......
