Why are Americans proud of their soldiers?
The US military has been serving the cause of evil, greed and murder for 60 years.
The only reason the average American would respect a soldier is because of that individual soldier's personal bravery and sacrifice. And I respect that.
But then if thats the reason, then you have to respect an Iranian, a Russian, an Iraqi or a North Korean soldier, because the same goes for their average foot soldier.
