this is kind of a silly question but what is the clear rinse that you talked about in one of your answers to someone's question below? Is it a shampoo or does it come in a color bottle but it's just clear? i think i may have used it once

hmm just about all companies that make color rinses make a clear rinse it comes in the same type of bottle as a colored rinse it just is clear it will be in the same section

if you just want it to shine, just try a clear rinse, just about ever rand has one and yea alcohol with do it!!! that why i stay away from motions products, try the fantasia one from the vid it works great on long or short hair!!!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this video! Thank you soo much!!! I just cut my hair 2 wks ago, and need things to spice it up!!! I was wondering which brand of Rinse should i buy for my hair? I am not big on rinsiing it black, but I am going on a cruise in a few weeks and need my doo GLISTENING!! LOL...

Another thing,,, I also noticed that my hair gets real hard and rough when i put my heat protectant on {Motions brand} and flat iron thru my hair. Can that possibly be cause of the Alcohol??

I have that hair cut too girl, but I only go to the salon for a trim. I use jet black as well. The blacker the better:) My fav products are, chi silk infusion, mizani spradiance hair gloss and paul mitchell skinny serum.. You have to keep black hair shiny. Cant live with out. I relax the same as you girl.

my haircut is very similar to yours. Now I've had it short since April 08. Your steps are SO accurate.I recently started doing my hair at home after purchasing Gold N Hot ceramic flat iron and cantu flat iron spray after use Organic Root Stimulator Creamy Aloe Shampoo and Wrap/Set Mousse. I really recommend using Soft Sheen and Carson Roots of Nature shea butter deep treatment. IT MAKES YOUR HAIR FEEL LIKE SILK. Thats my regimen. A great line are Jane Cater Solution products.

no it should be fine to do i semi (or a rinse) a week later, when you go to the barber shop you should just say tou want it lined or cleaned up and the barber should know what you are talking

Love the video!!!! I permed my hair like 3 weeks ago all over and did a permanent dye like a weeks and half ago or so and I really don't like it. Can I do a semi in like a week or should I wait longer? Also when you go to the barber shop how do you explain to them how you want the back done? Thanks again for posting this video!!!!

Instead of the Nexxus Hummectress, go to Sally's and get the GVP version. In my opinion it works just the same.
