  • this guy really didnt say much... lol...

  • The tyre is designed with the whole car in mind...a great reason to stick with the OEM tires. When considering the amount of tire brands and differences between brands, trying to find 'the best' tire for the car you have might not happen because by the time you have test only a small selection of tires, you will be getting a new vehicle. It also goes to mention that as your search for 'the best' occurs, the changes in suspension, steering etc will impact on the results of your tire.

  • advan s4 is a snow tire my ass both these guys went nowwhere fast weak sauce

  • I don't think is what a good representation either...He sounds more like a salesman with limited knowledge of the industry rather than a Yoko representative that knew what he was talking about...Sales pitch, nothing more...Oh and all season tires are NOT snow tires... Can have the agressive tread design in the world, but it's the soft compound that makes a snow tire...

  • @glk001 I was amazed he said the tyre fitted to the Bentley wasn't a performance tyre- I know for a fact Bentley do NOT use Yokohama tyres! He lies. He doesn't even know the difference between treads and doesn't know how to explain the difference. He is nothing but a misinformed sales person. I have never heard so much rubbish about tyre design!

  • @urbex2007 And that's why he's hired at Yokohama=>because he's talking shit all the time and you are sitting at your desk, because you're an Einstein when it comes to tyre design.

  • thx because i thought tires made from wood.

  • I disagree. That was a poor representation for Yokohama. The Yoko rep never mentioned elimination of resonance, sidewall stiffness or rubber composition. The "biting edge" term he used is the tire holding ice inside the grooves because ice-ice contact provides more traction than rubber-ice contact, and this was alluded to by the Streetfire guy. The Yoko did say a lot of "uh" and "ya know," for what ever that's worth.

  • i do more than 20k in 3months

  • LOL. That guy had no idea what he was talking about!

  • I Have a full Set of Yokohama S. Drives so far so good, deadly silent, impressive grip on water and cornering, good bang 4 the buck BUT last less than 20K i dont mind it tough

  • They last less than 20k...so you'll be replacing them soon?? I'm debating on whether to get this brand or michelin..but 20k?? i do more than that in a year :p

  • Nahh i think they can last longer but i tend to drive really agressive on corners, beside i did now they would not last that long since they are intended for Sporty Drivers and not to last long, if you want a Long lasting tire and keep some sporty grip i should advise the Yokohama YK520 the last set last me 68000K and thats impressive! but they cost 20 bucks more than the S. Drives. The last Michelins make sound like a turbo jet while driving very noisy and the grip is so-so. so no buy for me

  • Go around the diameter of the tire? WTF? next vid....

  • @livebyreason

Technically, he's still right. He said they are circumferential grooves that go AROUND the diameter. Does a circumference go around the diameter of a circle/sphere? Yes. He's still right. No need to be so anal about his wording.

  • forget this shit.. just buy Pirelli Pzero

  • What was the 2nd tire they looked at?

  • Yokohama Advan Neova AD07

  • good video, thanks!

  • nice vid 5 stars from me

  • Thanx for posting this vid it helped me understand things i wanted to kno but didn't.
