1. I had already seen half the movies (this is before I knew the last book would be in two parts) so I might as well see how it ends. It's the same reason I read the last book.

2. We went to see it knowing it would be doo doo so we had a good laugh at it's doodyness. This one was actually the most enjoyable experience, as we commentated amongst ourselves MST3K style.
