  • Nice! I dove into a set that spent 20 years in an open box in a Phoenix Arizona attic this week. A little love was all was all it needed.

  • I always buy old model trains at yard sales. If I can't fix em up I use them for parts. Have several 40 year old cars I use on my latout right along my modern rolling stock

  • Old = Built to last.

  • Excellent job! I like the track plan and that Chessie engine. Nice setup.

    What size is the table??

  • I like your track plan nice work on the restoration they run like a champ;)

  • There's a lot of life left in them old trains, and a lot of fun you can still have with them. Please keep up the restoration and post another video of your efforts!

  • is it for sale if so how much

  • Not for sale.

  • thats awsome!!

  • Good to see that you got the old layout running again.

  • Congratulations on getting up and running again. I'm 35 and have just started building a layout for my 5 nad 2 year old boys. I pulled out two engins that are about 28-29 years old. They boath run, but are loud and screachy. What did you do to your green Penn Central to make it run so quiet? My local Hoby dealer told me that my traction problem was due to only haveing one set of drive wheels. Are yours double motored? David

  • The green Penn Central has ALWAYS run quiet for me for some reason! That loco is 30 years old, and is still running like a champ. Didn't do anything special to it - just general cleaning.
