My xbox was far more easy to connect to a lcd monitor than my ps3...and althought my monitor supports HDCP the ps3 still isnt showing on the monitor. So I left the ps3 sticked to my HDTV and plugged the xbox to my lcd monitor.

So with the standerd HDMI cables that come with the xbox, u cant get it to 1080p, but only 1080i max?

Mines an acer x243hq 24" connected to my ps3 via a dvi to hdmi cable

For sound I use my lg home theatre in a box

The picture quality is amazing like ur :p

I want a 360 as well but not until Microsoft fix the problems. Anyway nice setup

I remeber when istalling evry thing encludin this screen it askes me how much p i want it to be it can be 720p and blah blah and i didnt pick the 720p

so does it mean if i plug in my xbox 360 it wont be 720p?

Hey do u know what to do I have that monitor (not tv/monitor version only monitor) and i plugged my xbox in it with VGA, set it to 1680:1080 (the screens resolution) and it looks really ugly and i get black bars on the bottem wtf is wrong with it

What is your LCD set to bro?

I have the same monitar and the 360, every time I set it to 1680x1050 I get two anoying widescreen bars on the top and bottom. When I set it to 1280x720 but it looks all sqiushed up. I have the vga to av cables from xbox.
