  • I fish the Nith, never catch much but nice countryside and salt of the earth people there. Drum Loch@Dalswinton is quality for the rainbows(trout that is, not weather induced phenomena). " Ya Dobber" is a good old fashioned insult, BTW, but Scottish folk need all the English £s they can get!!.

  • i agree m8 am fae dalmellington and av fished the minnoch at glentool twice and had 2 salmon and plenty of action. fished the cree once but the water wiz to high so just went 2 the central bar and got steamin. the burdz doon there are friendly lol

  • Am from newton stewart and its the best fishing in the world on the cree its awsome my mate got a salmon the day dated 9/10/07
