i've done a 1:17.8 :) trick is to come off the power into the slow corners and then power trough so you dont bounce of the rev limiter

automatic is noob. whit manual you can beter acelerate and do a better start.

ps you are going to long in turn 3. than you have lesser speed in turn 4 and than you dont made the 4the gear in turn 5.!!!!!! :) but misstakes are for to lurn ;)

I find the best setup for melbourne is Soft tyres with The grip to speed setting at 0.95 also to get more speed you can change the MPH of which it changes gear. Do you use Auto gearbox or manual?

Hey, I use automatic. I know you can change the gear change in tuning but i dont think i have. What do you suggest.?

@MJTiltMaster I also use automatic . I cant get used to manual lol . There are 3 different presets Speed , Acceleration and Balance so switch the setting to Speed.

Hi again MJ, currently doing career with BMW, just got a lap time of 1:23:564 in free practise.

I played about with the setup a bit and got gd results; Brake Bias 62:38, and higher front wing downforce allows for really quick cornering.

I'll keep you posted on times as i progres through the season with updates to car setup.

Your right, no where near a perfect lap, quite a few corners where I should of going wider.! All mods are set at default, remember to use soft slicks. Would it help you if I gave you my sector times so you can see where you need to gain time?
