yeah he's leaving out what happens in response to going off the grid. The cooling generators will only work for about a week and after that people will have to bring in diesel fuel and manually feed it into the units to keep them running until reactors eventually completely cool down.

Now, there IS reason to be concerned about the solar maximum. It could become REALLY annoying if a handful of satellites are made inoperative and some power grids have significant damage. Extremely annoying. Inconvenient too!
And dangerous for the elderly and infirm in the summer or depths of winter.
