Even the PS3 is very complex to program for from what my friend who works for a PS3 game company told me. Love them or them, Microsoft understands this and has beautiful development tools for pros (DirectX) and beginners (XNA), Thankfully companies like EPIC and CRYTEK are trying to change that.

The only company from Japan I know of that makes games for X-Box is Tecmo Ltd.
@MysticArksRevenge In Japan, the Xbox consoles aren't very popular. The original xbox suffered from being to big for asian markets. I'm not sure why the 360 doesn't sell well. It could be for similar reasons why the PS3 doesn't sell well in the U.S. Mostly size, games, and features.
I own a 32X. It's okay; I mean, it has a few good games but a lot of them were just graphically-enhanced ports of Genesis games and a lot of the original ones were lame or just didn't appeal to me. I also believe it boosts the resolution of my Genesis games.
Spiderman 32x is a fun game just make sure you put the mute button on while playing. One of the worst sounding games I ever played when I got it. Fun but sounds bad.
back in the day it was a waste of money... right now both the 32X and the Sega CD are as cheap as Gooch's ass and both have some good games that you can get for a few bucks so yeah if you still have your genesis you could try to get your 32X and Sega CD now and try some nice games for a very affordable price. The Sega Genesis/Megadrive was AMAZING, the Sega Saturn even when it didnt sell so well it was a blast to play with ( specially in Japan where it had more games available for ), the GameGear was a great handheld and the Sega Master System was overall decent. But yeah Dreamcast ROCKS!

@xBlackxZerox Thanks men, and good point. I really think that Dreamcast could be the best console of the entire history. Amazing graphics, exelent games, a lot of technology and more.. Saturn has exelent games too, but for me, Dreamcast is the best Sega game system. I think that Genesis was a good console in the early 90´s, but Snes always has better graphics and sound. I´m a true fan of videogames, but i got to say this: Snes>Genesis, PS>Saturn, Dreamcast>PS2, Game Cube and XBOX together...
I still have my 32X in my original genesis console with the add on cd drive. It looks awesome. It's even still hooked up with my ps1 and snes systems on a tv in the basement used just for old crappy gamesystems that I still love and play. But yeah, me aside, it was an epic failure like everything sega did during these years under some pretty crap management. I miss sega tv, that ruled.

I do agree that the 32x was a big mistake on Sega's part and they should have focused more support for the Saturn than anything. But in most respect to Doom on the 32x I think in terms of Ports while the sound was crappy it looked far better than the SNES only cause the SNES wasnt able to have different textured ceilings while the 32x did and also both version only rendered the front sprites of the monsters so your not able to sneak up on them basically and they can't fight.
Just to tell the best console version of doom was on the jaguar. That`s strange. That`s a bad console. It was great but it had no music. To fix the no music problem, get your ipod or mp3 and blast some slayer in your house.
This is kinda random, but I've noticed some similarities between the 32X and the atari 5200. The libraries of both consoles were mostly remakes of games from the previous system, and both had issues with the power supply. Interesting, huh?

The 32x shouldn't have happened. Considering that the Sega Saturn, the Playstation, and the N64 were all on their way, nobody had a reason to buy into the 32bit add on. This is also one of the many things that made customers lose faith in Sega, which kept the Dreamcast (my favorite console right beside the SNES) from being successful.
the 32x genesis cd was annoying to hook up but i recently found out that sega made its own surge protecter that can fit all 3 and a master system and even the colecovision in one yes its really rare if you want to find one now a days but im a lil happier that they at least tried to make the hook up easier
The 32X is a commercial disaster and had really high launch price and cartridge price.
The 32X and the games itself(The good ones) are awesome. Best Mortal Kombat 2 copy for homeconsoles ever. What SEGA should have done was to port Sonic CD to 32x and bomb down the Sega CD.
You can call the CDX a fail all you want but it's one of the slickest systems ever made. The Sega CD was the shit and all that awesomeness in such a small package is pure bad assery.

This here little add-on was by no means worse that the Philips CDi. Or the Apple whatever it's called. It was a bad and unnecessary move, by Sega sure, but worse that the CDi? No.

I do agree that the 32x was a big mistake on Sega's part and they should have focused more support for the Saturn than anything. But in most respect to Doom on the 32x I think in terms of Ports while the sound was crappy it looked far better than the SNES only cause the SNES wasnt able to have different textured ceilings while the 32x did and also both version only rendered the front sprites of the monsters so your not able to sneak up on them basically and they can't fight.

Just to tell the best console version of doom was on the jaguar. That`s strange. That`s a bad console. It was great but it had no music. To fix the no music problem, get your ipod or mp3 and blast some slayer in your house.

This is kinda random, but I've noticed some similarities between the 32X and the atari 5200. The libraries of both consoles were mostly remakes of games from the previous system, and both had issues with the power supply. Interesting, huh?

The 32x shouldn't have happened. Considering that the Sega Saturn, the Playstation, and the N64 were all on their way, nobody had a reason to buy into the 32bit add on. This is also one of the many things that made customers lose faith in Sega, which kept the Dreamcast (my favorite console right beside the SNES) from being successful.

the 32x genesis cd was annoying to hook up but i recently found out that sega made its own surge protecter that can fit all 3 and a master system and even the colecovision in one yes its really rare if you want to find one now a days but im a lil happier that they at least tried to make the hook up easier

I still use mine to this day. And can get all three Powersupply's attached to it.

The 32X is a commercial disaster and had really high launch price and cartridge price.
The 32X and the games itself(The good ones) are awesome. Best Mortal Kombat 2 copy for homeconsoles ever. What SEGA should have done was to port Sonic CD to 32x and bomb down the Sega CD.
