It takes a good 40 minutes to download a game.... 3000, you can also download games, if your really that digital, and you can use USB.... plus, 3000, feels more comfortable to the hand... I got an almost brand new one still in the box for $120. Looks like a smartphone, if you're worried about looking like a nerd in public. It's perfect if you want a gaming device with you at all times while you're away (doesn't use UMDs, so less bulk to lug around). Download 2 or 3 games, toss it in your bag or pocket, and you're good to 'go' (you have to pay for each game to download). If you already have a large library of UMDs, or plan on doing intense gaming, get a regular PSP.
