  • Exquisite!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you very much for posting this elite piece of music. It truly is a masterpiece

  • If its electronic its a damn good one!!

  • one of the better interpretations of the widor toccata on youtube....

  • I totally agree with you. I also like how the video shows the foot pedals -- it displays the true complexity of the song.

  • very ok!!!!!

  • This orgen have not pipe's. It's an electronic organ from Johannes orgel the Netherlands.

  • Magnificent! Thank you very much.

  • Vitesse ? Simplement est CON BRIO!

  • C'est vrai, Pierre Pincemaille joue trop vite!!!

  • Writing it in French doesn't make it any more true! =)

  • certes, peut être un peu rapide, mais quelle interprétation! Qui est cet organiste?

  • cet oeuvre est joué un peut trop vite, d'après mon goût.

    mais fantastique quand même!

    thanx for upload!

  • Widor's tempo marking is 118 bpm. This performance fluctuates between 128 bpm (when manuals alone play) down to 114 bpm (when the pedal theme enters). Of course, music isn't to be a 'paint-by-numbers' affair; the test is, do the chosen tempi work to the proper artistic effect? This brings in considerations of the particular instrument being played, the chosen articulations and registrations, and the acoustic environment in which the performance takes place.

  • (continued) Let's also remember to place this movement, if possible, into context as the exuberant conclusion to a multi-movement work; all fifth symphonies, you will find, have extravagant tempi at the conclusion - Beethoven, Mahler, Shostakovich, and, yes, I agree with this performer, Widor as well.

  • wow

    wonderful!!!

  • Waw ! Un bon tempo, un superbe son ... Et où se trouve ce magnifique instrument ? Yeah; great tempo, good sound ... But where is that instrument ?

Merci pour les vidéos à venir ! Please post more organ videos ! :)

  • It is from a DVD, from Johannus organ builders. It is a company wich makes electric organs, so actually, this is a replica of a Cavaillé-Coll. An electrical one. At that very same DVD there is also an English based organ connected to that system.

  • What an organ! I realy want one!!!! How much are they?
