Re the car type: there are 3 cars in this video. The pair that you see driving on the straight from 0:45 to 1:01 are Formula Renault 2.0s, but it looks like Putin drives off and returns in a modified Renault R202... from the 2002 F1 season. Perhaps used as a test-bed for new the Formula 3.5 car.

That is NOT an F1 car people. He actually drove two different cars, one at the end was a Formula Renault 2.0, one at the beginning, that he spun, was a Formula Renault 3.5. The 2.0 is ~192HP, 3.5 is a VQ35DE from a 350Z, around 300HP last I remember. Far cry from the 800HP F1 cars of today...

@sjsharp2007 It's not a formula one car - it could be a formula renault 3.5 car at most. As for Murray Walker you are correct he was allowed to drive a Formula one Mclaren in the early 1980s by Ron Dennis and was also given a ride in the two seater McLaren in 1998.
