  • Does this car have a manual or auto trans.? I am considering the Trick Flow upper engine kit( heads,cam) A Fast 90 mm intake man. for my 2000 LS1 Ws6. Did you encounter any overheating,broken driveshafts,gernading rear diff? I am trying to figure out what else I will have to beef up to hold 515 hp

  • that cam is some what mild, the C/R must be pumped up on that ls1, and i don't think that the 215s would rise the c/r that much...

    high compression pistons?

  • Rapid motorsports along with other Ls1 based companies are turning out on the regular 500rwhp packages, those trickflow heads are amazing, and the dominator cam is a beast all on its own, add that with a 6 speed which if I remember correctly thats what this car has, and its more than feasable to get the 500rwhp, not to mention he put it on the dyno..oh and for other reference check out vengeance racing's 575 package, thats at the crank but its close if not over the 500rwhp mark time after time

  • If this has the stock heads/valve size, there is no fucking way you are pushing that much rwhp. BULLSHIT. You will lose at least 30-40 horses in the transmission alone if it is an auto. If you had the heads worked to the extreme, machined bigger valve seats, got bigger undercut valves, valve springs and retainers, and a cam over 500" of lift, then maybe you could have 470-500hp at the crank. This car looks way to factory for that. Good luck trying to fool people on YouTube. BTW I am a chevy fan!

  • to be completely honest with you, it is naturally aspirated, no supercharger! thats whats even more remarkable... it has almost everything you can do to a N/A LS! done to it without building the bottom end, and its the same engine displacement :D check out the video info for a complete list of mods :)
