Ideally, I would prefer the 6.0L over the 7.3. Cool sounding idle and fast off the line. However, I had to go with the 7.3L. I just couldn't take the chance of having the mx issues.

03 6.0 are the worst so many warentee claims on them they allways broke down the injectors went turbo blew if you want to get a good 6.0 get an 06

I have been wanting a power stroke for a while now. My only concern is the fuel cost. Right now in NC Diesel is about 2.56 a gallon. How much would it cost to fill up that truck and what kind of mileage does it get? Thanks!

Diesel here is 2.59 a gallon. 60 bucks fills her up and its gets about 18mpg

You guys are all wrong. The '03s are the best model of 6.0l, not to mention the fastest and the toughest. And btw the turn signals on the mirrors were included on the 03 6.0ls, but not the 03 7.3ls.

its not a 03. its an 04. the towing mirrors with the turn signals werent added till the 04's came, but still same 6.0

Very nice man! I love my 6.0 to, they are so damn powerful! I have towed 6 horses around before with it, in a heavy ass trailer, up a steep ass hill! What tuner do you have on yours, or do you have one? I know you can blow head gaskets with these, thats one thing that concerns me about mine.

Have you had to do any engine work to your 6.0? I to have an 03 6.0 as well, and it has been pretty good. I have had to replace 7 injectors so far,and a fuel pump though. How do you like yours?

yea we had some problems... cyclinder 8 needed an injector, new turbo and a egr valve... but i love it havent had anymore problems out of it and plenty of power...
