  • Priceless. The ultimate proof that music tells more than words can say.

Thx 4 uploading this version. Greets from Flanders, Belgium

  • When I was growing up, we didn't have electricity, and I remember my Dad hooked up a radio in the house to a car battery so my Mom could listen to some music. And this is the kind of music we heard every day. Wonderful memories of a time gone by. Thanks for posting.

  • @damama55 You're welcome.

  • anyone know who the saprano is in this song or the guy whistleing?

  • I love this song. The guy whistleing sounds exactly the man whistleing in the Jim Ed Brown version. The saprano singers or singer makes this version even better. Does anyone know who the sapranos were? or the whistler?

  • Such a pretty song and I love the fact it was only music..Thanks

  • @Elizabeth195852 Your welcome,and thank you.

  • Very pretty.....

  • I am madly in love with an Indian who is young enough to be my son....most beautiful smile, and whitest teeth...dark skin and slightly graying hair and beard....sweetest guy I ever met and best lover I have ever had...I send this to him at least once a week.....unfortunately there is no real future for us....but I can dream

  • @cutegrandma I'm not sure if this will help, but here goes. Like they say,if a first you don't succeed try try again.Good luck.

  • I wish someone could post.."You're the Reason I'm in love" by Sonny James

  • Sonny James was one of the biggest stars in country music until he retired, and too few realized that he was also one of the great instrumentalists. When he came to Nashville, he even roomed with Chet Atkins, and they used to play their guitars together--I would have loved to have heard that.

  • Simply Beautiful, I have no words, except

to say "Thank You"... Great work,,,

  • @BigWheelHawaii Your welcome, but all the credit belongs to Sonny James for the music and to First People for there wonderful pictures.I just put it togeather.Thank you for stopping by... :)

  • @BigWheelHawaii

I love this piece of music...never more than this past few months, when I heard it in my spirit, in regards to someone that I have recently been involved with online...we were parted due to circumstances beyond our control...but evil cannot win...and just like all good fairytales...in the end, it will work itself out...with a little prayer and faith.

    Blessings All,

    Layna.

    Vancouver, Canada.

  • I wish I had lived "back then".....I love nature and would not have minded living in a "teepee" with my handsome Indian Brave....

  • I adore this video. It reminds me of my Great, great grandmother who married my great great grandfather in 1835 when she was 15 years old. She was a Tuscorora Indian born in Columbus County, NC.....they had 13 children and were together till their deaths in Robeson County, NC....in the 1900's.

  • Sonny always played the little runs in and between chords as good as anyone on an Acustic Guitar, I love on this song you can hear a few of those runs that used to fit so well when Sonny was singing.
