If they would have maked the scene as it was written in the book it would have looked like the kiss Ron shared with Lavender after the match earlier in this movie. It was not romantic at all , the only effect it had was too leave Hermoine crying about it. Soo David Yate's i appreciate your choice.

@kaleidoscopeheart91 I can understand why they changed it a little bit... They would have had to add about 5 or more minutes of movie just to have it exact to the book... I mean, why does Ginny kiss Harry: Quidditch. Why isn't Harry there himself? He got landed detentions with Snape. Why? Snape knew Harry was lying about his Potions book... So, that all in itself would have been a lot more to add, and there probably just wasn't enough time for it.

For everyone who says Ginny is a bad actor, a lot of it may have to do with the fact that she is only a side character. Daniel, Emma and Rupert have grown as actors seeing as how they are central characters. It's a learned art and takes a while to perfect...I mean it has to be nerve wracking to do an on screen kiss for the first time with everyone watching you and knowing it's supposed to be a huge moment for the film.
