When he came up with the chorus hook he must have had a mental short circuit from joy. Very distinctive and evocative as the guy must have been told countless times (on his way to getting laid)..lucky for him. Never thought of it at the time, but after the boozy beer bands with comic but cool chic started to fade out, these guys looked like the indie band for indie bands. Wow, I'm clever for observing all this.
Funnily enough downloaded this to the Ipod today from "Tales from the Australian Underground" Singles 1976-1989" A No 1 hit missed by the Australian public, Wishing......
I think I watched this when it was on TV back in the day. But I also saw them live a couple of times, and seeing this really brings that to mind. A fantastic band.
