@shadowgeyser it's true! It's at the discretion of the store manager, but some stores actually let employees check out games. It seems kind of fucked up, and well, it can be, but it's sometimes necessary. Gamestop usually gets a llottt of costumers asking direct questions about new releases, and well, thats how we know usually. It's hands on.

@shadowgeyser well, I'll try to explain. When gamestop takes a game out of it's case, and slips it onto the display, it's called a gut. They then take the rest of the so said game, and stock it behind the counter. That stack of games is referred to as a brick. For some reason lately, gamestop seems to be getting into the swing of gutting a lot of their games, which is a real pain. You can request a sealed package though, or in some cases, ask them to shrink wrap the whole deal.
