Actually I was there. I remember talking to the folks coordinating it, and I was under the impression it was supposed to happen at the end of the ceremony and the announcer introduced them early, so the ground crew called them in. It was a gorgeous ceremony though, and anyone stationed in the area should definitely check it out.
