Aer Lingus Should Fly to Antalya... Or Sharm El Sheikh / Hurghada they are big holiday destinations in the UK and Sharm is big this year with thomson... Thomson are overpriced though
Nice! I like that she says "for your own comfort but especially for your safety please remain seated until the aircraft has reached it's parking area, the doors have been opened and the seatbelt sign has been switched off" haha you don't hear that very often :P "for your own comfort..." and "the doors have been opened..."
Any seat in the first coach cabin between 12-29 is better - row 39a is towards the rear of the aircraft. I like row 20 or 21 and I found the aisle seats ( D & G) in the center of 4 have more room than the 2 seater ( A C or H K)
aaaahh. did that flight once. aer lingus so cozy, and give you a great feeling, especially with the irish announcement and the dublin posh accent. also dublin airport, i just love it!
thats so cool you arrived on the 7th, i was in Dublin at the time visiting for a couple days, flew from boston on the same plane but i arrived on the 5th
@phen2206 KLM is so annoying. If you want to go from dublin to new york you have to to amsterdam and then back. Its longer and costs money. KLM's ethics are flawed
@DeltaAirtran I like how you're a retard. If you would have some knowledge inside your little head you would know that the closer to the ground you get, the slower the aircraft goes, it just looks faster because it's closer to the ground.
That was a hard touch down. Slight bounce as well because the spoilers didn't go on all the way. Airbus is no better than boeing and Boeing is no better than airbus. And the A380 sure isn't a success story yet, before you rave on about the 787 delays.
I am flying Aer LIngus back to DC from Edinburgh next month. Because of the A330 crash with Air France and because I am a very nervous passenger, I was hoping you can tell me how the flight compared with flying on a 737. Did you feel safe?
im sure youll be fine i was on this same aircraft in the video a day earlier than it was recorded. it was a great flight, not much turbulence, could barely feel the take off and landing too. also aer lingus is a great airline.
The A330 is an amazingly safe AC, with soo much power! You should feel safe in it, I went on one (Monarch A330 G-SMAN which is an ex Air France A330) and i was fine, they are beautiful !
when I returned to dublin from NY my aer lingus plane broke down so they chartered in a Delta. Service bad. Only one cup of water for the whole thing.
Why did the Flight Attendent say.."Once again on behalf of Aer Lingus and United Airlines, I would like to Thank You for choosing to fly with us today." Does Aer Lingus have a connection with United Airlines? Why did she say United Airlines? What language is she speaking at 4:08-4:13?
I always love hearing the Irish announcement at the end of Aer Lingus flights, I hate that they won't do it on Belfast, I wonder might they do it with Gatwick base though?
It won't be used at the Gatwick base, it would be pointless for flights such as Gatwick-Malaga or Gatwick-Vienna as most of the passengers on board would be British and wouldn't understand. The Gatwick-Dublin flights and all other flights into Dublin, Shannon and Cork will still use it as they are Irish based crew.
Not surprised by that, the long-haul operation has taken a hit because of the economic downturn. The overall load factors are still doing quite well at 70% for long-haul and 80% for short-haul.
ive been on that plane! the screens are so cool arent they?!:D

Yes, Aer Lingus has a codeshare agreement in place with United. The attendant was speaking Irish at the end of the video.
