  • I love this. I am so intruiged. It's funny how as a creator we have so much trouble distancing ourselves from our work that we often fail to see the hints of beauty and unique engineering in our work. I am so intruiged by the use of different camera angles, seeing what the dancer sees, what maybe the ants see, or the people in those skyscrapers see. and you know what? i like your first improv better than the second! I guess what one man sees as a failure is another man's springboard.

  • omg youre such an inspiration to a young dancer like myself. your honesty is pure. in the begining when you were holding the camera and dancing i felt like you were speaking to me .. like i was there. it felt so personal. you might say you hate this video but in my opinion i think its one of your best because of your honesty. this really opened my eyes. and im reallyyyy glad you put up this video.

    thanxx

  • aw thank you. Maybe its so personal for me that I feel as if I live in that memory more than I can accept :( But, I actually began to cry during the first improv. And I am not a person who cries. So, I guess it was honest. But thank you so much. I love your video for this week as well!

  • I actually thought that this was really cool :)

  • Thank you :)

  • You need to give yourself more credit. You have enormous talent that is so incredibly inspiring. This whole project was genius. I am so grateful that there are other people in this world who respect improv as much as i do. I have fallen in love with dance over and over again and I love being apart of a community of people who feel that exact overwhelming passion.

    This was beyond amazing.

+When you were "dangling" as he sang it. I believed that you were.

  • aw thank you so much. I am glad we share a passion for movement together :)

I love how project amazingness is going and I have never been so inspired to create before :)

  • continuing from previous comment:

...the black and white effect, I don't know if it was on purpose but it fits to the song perfectly.

These are my thoughts, I don't know if any of them were in your intentions but anyway watching this was a very beautiful moment for me. Funnily enough, I was also waiting for it to snow to make my own video but it doesn't look like it will, so I'll just have to think of something else. :)

  • Thank you so much :) When I listen to this song I am taken back, I dont know where back is, but I know who was there with me. And I guess I associated a memory to be in a grey color. Thank you for understanding me so much :)

  • I love

...the roller coaster when you spin with the camera at the beginning

...how the skyscraper next to you starts shaking with a sound of thunder at 1:38 - just like it's really the end of the world

...the way you let the wind catch your movement and make you look like you're just another snowflake dancing in the air (and how at 1:50 the wind gets under your shirt and blows the fabric and then the wave continues through your arm, it's all in a perfect organic harmony of movement)

    continues

  • Really cool. I love the setting and concept:)

  • thank you. :) I want to dance with you and your students right now! :) They inspire me!

  • awesomee.

  • i could apologize for everything I despise about this video. But I am trying to remain positive :) ha. thank you.

  • there are so mistakes in dance :)
