Hi, i love your work and thanks for using a little idea from "On Meeting My 100 Percent Woman One Fine April Morning " i am a big fan of HARUKI MURAKAMI and that 100% story is my favorite one! cheers , keep it up!
Thanks for the comment, really made me smile. I remember i read that story in 2005 and instantly fell in love with it... i've become a fan of Murakami's eversince :) Now i would have tried to make the reference to '100%' story abit more subtle, but nevertheless i hope it sorta hints at the overall narrative for my film. CHEERS!
nice work. i like how u shot the bnw traffic scene near the end, slowing urself down then speeding it up through editing, thats a fair amount of effort there. good job
Thanks for the compliments, i agree i am quite proud of the imagery... the audio/dialogue on the otherhand is a whole different story. But thanks once again, maybe next time i make a romance film it won't turn out as cheesy as this!
It does feel a little rushed, and the acting could use work, but I like it. I can definitely see Wong Kar Wai's/Chris Doyle's influence. The scene in the eatery just screamed "Chungking Express" to me.
Yerh the film has really evolved from the original script and i had restricted filming schedule hence after the 'dialogue' scene everything just goes too quick.
But it's great to hear you like it, i was hoping i could have done a better job but theres no point complaining about it. And yes WKW/Chris Doyle were my biggest inspirations for this movie, i think i tried to emulate their style abit too much though :S
Endless sadness,and melancholy..
thanks.

what did you use to shoot this?

Howdy, for most of the shots i used my friends Panasonic GS-400 (3ccd) camcorder, while for other shots i used my old sony digital 8 camcorder.

The acting's not too bad and the imagery is near perfect. All in all, I think you did a wonderful job with this.
