They do have the greatest facial expressions. I swear I can have a full conversation with my basset just by speaking and observing the way he raises he eyelids and positions his ears.

My Basset Hound used to lean her head like that when I was supposed to take her out of the house, because my dad wouldn't let her sleep in. At the very moment that the door was going to close I saw her face looking at me like that lol... They do have some ability to convince people. I could never resist scratching her belly again before I let her there :P
I just lost my Rosie of 14 years, she was stubborn as hell and very disobedient, but Id clean up all the poop in the world just to be with her one last time. treasure every minute ur with yours, b/c before u know it Rodney will be gone.
