I just dont think Duke will keep Scheyer on the bench next year, he was the best 6th man in the nation and the only reason he didnt start is because of nelson, now hes gone he should get the start. Look for Williams to sneak into the lineup as well as Plumlee if Thomas stinks up the place again. Zouubek wont play more than a min.

O well king leaving probably helped us anyway for the future we used his scholarship on Miles Plumlee coming in next year he's pretty good and best of all he is a post player then his little brother will be there the season after that. So next season we will have Elliot Williams, Olek Czyz, and Miles Plumlee coming in. That sounds pretty good though we will be PF heavy. potential starting 5 will be

Real talk. I think we will see what he is about this year. Last year he was injured. But in the home game against North Carolina he showed flashes of a good player. He only played 9 min. but he had 6 points and three rebounds which were all offensive. Better yet he played Hansbrough great. If he could get some coordination then he will definitely be someone to watch out for. The height is a great factor in his game.

Paulus has shown a lot of maturation since his freshman year: he's improved both as a decision maker and a game runner, and he's also developed tremendously as a shooter and offensive presence.

Plus, this year's freshmen are incredible. Kyle Singler more than makes up for McRoberts in terms of his versatility and mid-range shot. I'm sure any Duke fan will agree that this year's team is a lot more promising than, say, last year's. Ring in '09? I sure as hell hope so!

All this paulus bashing is short-sighted and a bit premature. Check paulus' numbers vs bobby hurley's after two years. Pretty damned close and hurley ended up in the rafters. Duke is loaded for deep run this year and a ring in 09. Paulus will be running the show both years.

I'd also like to see Scheyer get more confidence and shoot with more accuracy and the incoming guys also have an immediate impact. I do also. this team should have no excuse to finish atleast in the top 3 of the ACC, I think they are the 2nd best team. There is no reason why they shouldn't win atleast 26-27 games b4 the ACC tourney. They have everything... size, speed, depth, experience. The only thing tht needs improvement if more physical low post presence. Aside from Zoubek and Thomas... there is really no 1 else. Should be a top 10 team all season long.
