I felt the need to post even though this an old video. With the views nearing 10k, obviously people come here. A few things were not mentioned in this video that should have been. 1) Clean your filter. Use the dish washer or chemically soak it over night. 2) Ensure all your jets are pushing water. One closed jet will hold water behind it, thus allowing bacteria to grow. 3)Science has come across some neat things since this video. Google Biofilm. :)
@mv103d Algaecide is not necessary in hot tubs. I wouldn't suggest using it again. Some algeacides conatin copper which you don't want in your hot tub. To much copper in water leads to green hair. :)
