Lucas North is a badass. Adam Carter was decent, but he was always a bit too 'shining knight' for me. Lucas is more like Tom Quinn - he's cold and efficient, and does whatever he has to.
I think Series 7 had one of the largest casts in Spooks' history. Lucas, Harry, Ros, Jo, Ben, Connie, and Malcolm. That number certainly went down through Series 7 and Series 8 with the death of Ben, Connie, Jo, Ros, and the retirement of Malcolm as Series 9 began with just Ruth, Harry, Lucas, and Tariq.
then buy the dvd on the internet... u can get box sets of each series.
we had to wait like 8 months to see it here so im sure the US wont be too far behind... or maybe they'll make a shitty copy of it like the did with The Office haha
oh god i hope not... the reason why i couldn't find it online was because it was under a different title... they put it under MI-5 not Spooks... and it seems that its going to take me longer to find the series 7 dvd because the series 6 was just released to us 8 months ago...
maybe try lookin at a british or aussie site, you'll need to pay more for postage and stuff but still, at least you'll know it's avaliable. i have seasons 1 to 7, they all come out here around when the series starts airing on ABC1.
If you have Netflicks you can have them send it to you up to season 6. I'm hoping they will have season 7 soon, because I absolutly love Richard Armitage and I want to see him in this. I also live in the US and this is the only place I've found it other than buying it. I wish they would have it on BBC America but no such luck.
it goes on at channel 21 (WLIW)... it shows at 1AM on saturdays, they only play season 6 though... thank god its a weekend or else i would miss it all!
This series has been really fantastic. The soundtrack is brilliant as well..it has been for all the seasons, a mixture of cool techno, suspensful, fast paced violin, and soft, sad piano, as well as that one that had the really haunting voice on it...beautiful

in the united states, we are a season behind on everything. MI5 is only on PBS and Top Gear on BBC-America is a series behind.
