"Buzz" was Bruno Weckerle ...he was a brilliant young musician and he is on the recording recorded in New York and produced by Jack Richardson. Bruno died several years ago.
WOW! Great to hear Wally, Joe, & Gord doing this fine version, but isn't that the late Newton Garwood (R.I.P.) on the Hammond? Sure sounds like him. Wonder why it was never released......and Q107 should have their asses kicked for not playing this!
Awesome stuff! I've never understood why they haven't gotten the recognition that they so obviously deserve. All these years of Psychedelic Psunday on Q107 and I've never heard any Leigh Ashford tunes being played! I remember I once phoned in and requested some Moxy, and they said there weren't enough listeners to merit them (Q107) playing Moxy, what a bunch of BS, It really boggles the mind!!
The different line up of musicians really gives it a marvelous 'alternate' sound. Brings back a lot of memories (or is it 'acid flashbacks'). Those were some of the best days of music in Toronto.

I saw the band a few times in the late 60's. Following Newton on organ was a young
kid named 'Buzz', don't recall his last name
