  • Fake, Niggers don't know shit about video games

  • @ObnoxiousBobify i have played fallout 4 times now.. yea call me crazy but everytime you play it, you find something new, given, you build your character differently everytime ( karma, weapons etc etc).

fallout 3 is everlasting game, it never ends, only if you know how to use options. have you played:

mothership zeta?the pitt?point lookout etc etc??fallout 3 is a massive massive game with humongous entertainment and adventure.

  • Fallout 3 and Borderlands...lol there 2 absolutly diffrent games. lol bad....

  • @Rathole1989 I go into that, but at the time of the video (shortly after the launch of Borderlands, hell 3 days after) I had been hearing about A SHIT load of comparisons and I go into the differences. so thanks for commenting on a nearly 2 year video and saying how it's adifferent comparisons

  • @leonia97 suck my dick.

  • @ReggaetonMustDie no fallout 3 is soo gay i frood it out the windo becuz i did the last dlc but i luvd the pitt

  • a shirtless black man on a shitty webcam comparing video games

  • @kunzitissk8 thrz something wrong with you brother..

  • @kunzitissk8 yes and?

  • I love both but I have to say im a bigger fallout fan so I have to say fallout

  • lol you talk like a retard

  • @ReggaetonMustDie u r a fool if u think that game is shit its 1000000000 times the game fallout3 is so stop try ing so hard you tard me 1 you 0

  • @ReggaetonMustDie fallout 3 is shit an nv is just a fail

  • @ReggaetonMustDie no fallout is shit

  • here's the thing, fallout isnt an fps so the whole first half of your video is moot.

  • @rahl182 it actually is a first person shooter and a 3rd person shooter hence being in first person mode...

  • @rahl182 fallout 3 can be played as an FPS 100% of the game.... I know fallout 1 and 2 weren't shooters in any sense beside you could get gun weapons. but as the title and I say in my video fallout 3 which is was originally shown as an FPS I played as an FPS and felt the third person elements were tacked on alittle ,judging by the animation of your character. That or they were simply results of using the same engine as Oblivion which allowed you to see yourself n third person.

  • @ObnoxiousBobify there's some stuff you can find in Fallout 3 on a second play through depending on karma and if you just walk around randomly

  • u look like a burnt monkey

  • @cheddar2001 I have the balls to atleast show my face also monkeys have a different facial structure then black people, so at least go with an accurate if you're gonna be racist, but hey racism is ignorance

  • @KanameTousen Now im not trying to be racist but I know a black guy that does look like a monkey but you actually dont look like one

  • @KanameTousen yeah racism is stupid. you re cool men ;)

  • One thing that Borderlands doesn't have is armour, I like games that have cool armour. Thats a hell of a lot of guns maybe too much for my taste, I want cool and interesting weapons, quantity doesn't matter as much to me. I can't get into Borderlands because I don't like the feel of it and the characters annoy me, so for me it's fallout 3. Plus Borderlands doesn't have the gritty dark creepy atmosphere that I love in Fallout 3 and New Vegas.

  • @UnyieldingDefiance

    Wait no cool interesting weapons?

a gun that shoots a bullet of ELECRITY a bullet of FIRE AND and one of ACID! I have one of those in borderlands that is a cool and interesting weapon.

  • @UnyieldingDefiance how the fuck dos fallout nv dark an creepe its a suney an hapy so its gay but im not a fanboy i hav that game

  • @kevenjordan1well theres the prostitution, the poverty, the crucifixions, how on earth is the game happy?

I remember trying to save a family from prostitution, on one of the notes it said they were threatening to kill her baby unless she and her daughters did what they said. Hardly a happy game, fallout 3 tries to portray a somewhat realistic picture of post apocalyptia.

  • borderlands is better

  • Both games SHOULD BE BOUGHT and since they're mutliplat for everything current, however if someone put a gun to my head I'd say Borderlands mainly cause the TRUE difference in gameplay that force me to play a different way when I pick a different class not just me choosing to do this or talk to this person or specialize in this. all I can say is if you like it, you like it but don't use reviews or majority's opinion to back up yours, your opinons can differ from IGN's, Darksydephil or even mine.

  • Shuld i get fallout 3 GOTY or Borderlands GOTY?

  • @Paleed123 Fallout 3's is basically a bunch of side stories(missions) that beside Broken Steel (which raises the level cap and changes the ending) have no real affect on the game itself but are good and fun while they last. Borderlands on the other hand most of the DLC enhances the main story which is trying to find the big score on Pandora except Dr. ned's Zombie Island . The other 3 DLCs all link together to one big finish in Claptrap's Robo-revolution, some will take you a while to 100% beat.

  • i think fallout 3 was better, because of the depth that fallout 3 goes into like just walking in one direction for an hour and finding or passing up literally hundreds of gameplay choices.

  • @yowo123 you do know...nevermind just know that Borderlands has something similar where if you accept alot of missions you'll find places you casually walk by in the main story but have a 2 to 3 side story mission of their own (if you read the wall of text you'll find an interesting story)

  • @yowo123 Borderlands ripped off fallout 3 and its concepts. Not only it ripped off fallout 3, it ripped off others as well.

  • @ronniekyo i agree, the only real thing original is the damage system, which isnt groundbreaking, fallout 3s wasteland was always ready and didnt need a hundred different load points (except for houses and etc.) fallout 3 also had an insanely better story than borderlands, a much better ending, which doesnt leave you feeling like you just wasted all the time playing the game and feels empty, while fallout 3s ending left you feeling like a dick, or a hero. much better game. And then broken steel.

  • Borderlands FTW :)

  • I think that fallout 3 could had better animation but it is an awsome game and bordelands is an awsome game as well

  • Borderlands is way too repepitive.

  • Borderlands is a coop party game with zero story depth that just had a diablo feel to it to me. FO3 had way more story depth had better characters and better character stats and perks. Both are way way different games though its comparing a single player story heavy game to a coop no story game.

  • @ManowarHeigou

did you read the text of the quest? because there's at least a decent story I'm sorry it's not voice acted but I remember 10 years ago and hell even today some video games only tell a majority of their story through text

  • @KanameTousen Yes i did and its still not nearly as story heavy FO3 says alot of the story and has even more text then borderlands. I spent alot of time on both but borderlands is way more repetitive

  • @ManowarHeigou that's the thing though your point was and I quote boarderlands is a game with "zero story depth" usually meaning it's just like Scott Pilgrim's game where the only story is before you press start and after you finish the game, while borderlands built the characters just in text. it wasn't that it was repetitive or that fallout had better this and that, just that it had Zero story depth, which you know isn't true as you just said. and what did you find repetitive about it?

  • Fallout 3: Great storyline, okay selection of guns, stunning post apocalyptic setting, and AT LEAST a good 30-40 hours of gameplay with DLC. 9.5/10

Borderlands: A little disapointing story, ENDLESS amount of guns, fun cartoony graphics that are a little glitchy/annoying at some times, and a good 40 hours of gameplay when you play through 2nd time and have all DLC. 8.8/10

Fallout 3 has a little more overall that puts it over the top.

  • @darkwarrior2583

glitchy as in how. Did you read the text? or you just going with the default "oh there wasn't audio so I guess they don't care about storyline" they weren't cartoony they're stylized man to fit more of the original concept art.

    Has alittle more of what?

  • I just ordered borderlands but it hasn't come in yet...but i don't think ANYTHING can beat borderlands.

  • fallout: 9/10

    borderlands: 9/10

  • fallout3 is a good game but i think borderlands is better

  • @aldemar28 reviews are again opinions doesn't matter how much they go into details it's someone's opinion

  • @KanameTousen

Borderlands is excellent, but this game has a lot of errors with the enemies's artificial intelligence (AI), for example sometimes if you shoot them they keep on walking as if nothing, or they do not shoot to you if you do not make it first, other point, I don't think so Borderlands be a RPG if finally the ending is same, no matter that you have done in game. Finally the ending is very bad, In my humble opinion fallout 9/10 and Borderlands 8/10, I'm sorry for my English.

  • @aldemar28

The AI in Fallout 3 was touchy at points also such as Dog meats suicidal tendencies. Different endings for character is not a common place for RPGs and the main part is YOU'RE PLAYING THE GAME FOR THE GAMEPLAY NOT THE ENDING. I loved the ending of borderlands mainly cause the "Angel" never said you'd see the inside of the vault only that you'd find it...you found it just couldn't reap the rewards.

  • Fallout 3, I think, is better. I'll give it an 8/10

  • I'm thinking of doing an update video since people are pointing out alot of things that I didn't mention in this review or are pointing out the same thing over and over again

  • Comparing gun amounts is sort've pointless, you know as well as I do that the guns in Borderlands are on a random generator, there are maybe...MAYBE...50 gun models, saying there are over 500,00 guns has been a lie ever since the game was released.

  • @TehBirddCage Actually the reason why I compare gun amounts is because of people dismissing borderlands as an RPG when the fact are there are 50,000+ guns in the game. Though they are tweaks of 50 gun models I will admit, there is the fact they all have different accuracy, ammo damage and special effects. Which sounds very RPG like. So yes there's only 50 models but 10,000+ tweaks for every one of the models which still is 50,000+ different guns at the end of the day.

  • @KanameTousen Thats actually 500,000.

  • Borderlands has loads of gun, but most of them are similar to another gun or guns in the game, but the pro-essence and atlas guns are cool. CO-OP is also great. Fallout 3 has pretty good graphics ( great for 2008),shakey shooting but VATS makes it easier ,boring quests at times, and a bit of walking. Fallout has a decent storyline, Great DLC, Fair amount of weapons, Cool skill idea (lockpick) .cool GORE! followers (dogmeat). More realistic (less humorous), and in my opinion the better game.

  • @Metallica9014 I deleted your first comment since you didn't state it as your opinion then.

Have you actually played Borderlands?cause it has gore and DLC

  • I find this comparison totally useless and pointless.

  • @SgtJStupid

the point is to tell how they're different cause both are worth while games that anyone should pick up at full price however the reasons why I pick Borderlands is explained in the content of this video. I however at the end explain that they're both two different things that you get two different experiences from and comparing them as people have been or saying ones better as a fact(especially without proof) is ridiculous

  • @KanameTousen

    I see.

    Cookie for you

  • the problems i have with borderlands is theres no place to put your stuff so when you get something you like you may have to drop it plus with all the hundreds of guns doesint help because you may never see the gun again when fallout 3 has places to store stuff and the gun or something doesint go away after you leave.

  • @deathbyburgers222496 With 100s of guns usuallyy by the time you got to drop some you have stuff that obiviously is weaker and stuff that's obviously stronger

  • yeah but his statement was "we all know fallout 3 is the best" and I'm asking for proof....my whole video is simply explaining why I like borderlands better he's trying to state that fallout 3 is better and it's a fact

  • no cause and I want you to try this, you can't take the pistol you find in the very beginning of the game and beat the game only using that weapon.. hmm that might be consider strategy. if you choose a weapon with more firepower but less shots per clip cause you don't need to spray that's called strategy that plays to your strong points. just because you encounter enemies every where doesn't make it an action game dose it? and if it's in your mind that really isn't fact that an opinion.

  • all know at Fallout 3 is best and who started bordelands vs fallout 3 ??

  • proof that fallout 3 is better?(and don't say reviews cause reviews are a person's opinion)

and I don't know I guess it was started at E3 2008(both games were shown) but if you look around youtube there are a few ones that are older the mine

  • Borderlands ftw amazing co-op and boss battles and so much fun, fallout 3 is ok i give borderlands 9.7/10 and fallout 3 7.1/10

  • Is their a list of all 500,000 weapons in borderlands?

  • No they all made with randomly generated computer code that stays with in certain limits

  • borderlands is a MUCH more fun game to play with friends or alone and lasts alot longer bc of the underdome which u can do forever. fallout 3 is better in terms of it being a bethesda game and bethesda makes awesome games. both are lacking in story and both dont have amazing graphics

  • I dont really like the comic book style on borderlands...

  • it's actually the style of the concept art not a comic or anime or cartoon it's what the artist drew made into 3d models

  • I played both, they had their positives and negatives and so on blah blah. Though for me Fallout was a better gaming experience, I enjoy deep story and personal interaction over combat so I would have found it abit more moving....but that minigun...too damn fun.

  • @TraumStarke

"I enjoy deep story and personal interaction over combat"

Okay like I've told everyone else, did you read the quest in borderlands? or just read the objective?

  • Oh, Ok so it must work in a way that I cant put down my own personal comparison, how I viewed the two within observational terms....Well fair enough, but to sum up the experience in a more negative situation- Boarderlands was void of story all together thus lacking in every aspect of game from the hindering attempt at a plot to the poor game-play itself.....In all It was a waste of a bloody payday given I also picked up some shoes a couple of shirts. I find blue to be my color.

  • @TraumStarke again you didn't read it cause I can say the same about fallout 3 being story void if I skip every single second of dialogue which is possible

  • @olPsychotixlo and the thing I'm loving about Borderlands is that they are not only giving us high quality DLC, it's the fact they gave it to us without even asking if we wanted it, unlike Fallout 3 which was like "Okay now your going to have to wait 3 months for the next DLC that we promised." Then mass effect...god that was a disaster with ME1 DLC.

  • @olPsychotixlo I'm very meh on it cause I've been watching DSP play it and he beat the game once and is only lacking 3 achievements(2 require you play different classes and one was for the harder diffculity) and Mass Effect 2's big appeal is that it carries over saves from ME1. However a big thing I noticed is no one wants to think of what happened with ME1, lack of promised DLC. however I still find all 3 games as "Buy any of them and you'll have fun" just like borderlands more, my opinion.

  • @olPsychotixlo anyway it's not a war(I don't see it as war) i just simply see it as something everyone getting alittle to hyped about. Seriously there isn't much of a difference in gameplay beside vats which is basically what borderlands dose in real time

  • @olPsychotixlo you just repeated yourself 3 times so,I'm gonna delete a few of those. Fallout 3 was easier on the simple fact it was based off the same engine utilizing alot of the same build just polished and morphed from Oblivion into Fallout "so harder to design" my ass, especially when you consider they had reference material from fallout 1 and 2. Unlike Borderlands which built it's graphics, characters and enemies and designs for weapons from scratch.

  • but fallout is an rpg first and a fps second and borderlands is fps first then rpg

  • @iplaytheguitar73

    Wrong

Borderlands is an RPG first always been, You choose your class, your weapons which effect your stats greatly cause you can't kill a level 23 grunt with a level one pistol as easily as you would with a level 23 pistol unless you leveled up your character's skills(hmmm sounds like an RPG first)

  • fallout 3 i more satisfying to play because of the good story and secrets

  • @upperheat borderlands has some very good story if you ever read it, secrets are a plenty ( "on a boat" trophy/achievement, Little Scrappy gag, the hidden cache of guns in new haven which include a rifle you can't find anywhere else)

  • @Game4Glory Thank you

  • he is wrong about borderlands not being as repetive as fallout 3 if you start a new borderlands character you have to go though the same missions same with fallout 3. but i will always love fallout 3 more than borderlands

  • you can pick different classes with uniquely different abilites that fallout 3 couldn't touch

  • no...seriously...im not E-dueling you over video games...so just drop it and get back to masturbating to borderlands..

  • your e-dueling me over not e-dueling me...smart man. if you notice I just generally reply to people about there misconceptions and beside this one video I don't talk about borderlands but to highlyy recommend it to people. you act like my whole channel's a love letter to borderlands. however I expressed my opinions you want to ignore them and ignore facts and then act like I'm the loser...hm and oh yeah before you tell me your not battling me again. look what you did twice now.

  • Fallout 3 is an RPG you play the role of a character you name, you assign skill points as you "level up", you make decisions that effect your character and the entire game world, and add and customize equipment, that to me is an RPG.

Borderlands is more of an Open world shooter, with quests.

Neither game is close enough to the other one to make a fair and balance arguement.

Its like Saying I LIKE TETRIS MORE THEN MARIO, its just a moot argument.

  • you are right, that's why in this video i explain differences but why I do like one over the other

  • @ralasinchains LOL what about Dr. Mario? Loophole.

  • @yowo123 Damn you!

  • in My opinion i think borderlands wins as an rps but that is only because i havent played fallout3 but i am not saying fallout 3 sucks im just saying im gonna give it a try

  • im sorry but u have no oppinion if you havent played fall out 3 yet

  • @04carrolld i have seen the videos and i like it thinking on buying it but my friends who have passed fallout3 for ps3 say they needed to do sexual stuff to gain armors, weapons, etc. I wanna know if thats true??

  • im pissed so ignor mi spelling lol no ure friends arent tellin te triuth you do not need to commit sexual acts to gai armours or weapons, peace.

  • @04carrolld oh thanks for telling me that maybe now i will give it a try

  • PSN greylynx look at my trophies I have over 50% on both borderlands and Fallout 3

  • fallout 3 is better

  • sorry but borderlands story just isnt as good and the interactions with human char is terrible you cant even kill them if u want. fallout 3 is awesome. i went to a place called rep. of dave and killed everyone and took it over lol.

i bought borderlands and im disappointed but it has great multiplayer i will say that. but im selling it for fallout 3 lol

  • i'm trying to decide whether to get fallout 3 or Borderlands. Now a bunch of my friends are telling me fallout 3 is awesome, which i know it is, but im not really a big fan of rpgs. An example is I LOVED bioshock and i think partly because of its fps elements. fallout 3 looks fun, but when it comes down to it i like to shoot enemies rather than wander around. Thats not saying I dont like games like Prototype and Assassins creed. which game do you think i should get?

  • Now I don't want to start a fight. Personally I like Fallout 3 more, but in other reasons Iike Borderlands more, here me out. Fallout 3, it's longer, more things to kill and A LOT of ending, but the game CRASHES, but not much.

Borderlands is insanley fun, but Fallout 3 is more, but Borderlands doesn't crash.

Vedict, for me, I like Fallout 3 more. :)

  • @AndrewMonkey8 the key thing is you said "you liked" not "it is" which is a huge difference cause your not stating facts, I'd actually have to say the ending of fallout 3 minus the pauses inbetween Ron Pearlman, (yep he dose voice for Narrator) for each ending screen shot, is actually the same length of boarderland's ending. and the ending is pretty hollow the last 5 seconds, if you go in, which are then made that you don't die in Broken steel lose their effect

  • fallout 3 has better replay value

  • @SeeMeNoMore111 how so?

  • well the mistery and secrets most people miss first time playing around. Most of the guns in fallout 3 are very tough to get. mostly threw an onslaught of monsters or very well hidden. Every quest has its on story line and theres secret locations to find like Oasis

  • @SeeMeNoMore111 Oasis is not really that secert I actually accidently found it while trying to get around a mountain to go to the deathclaw filled town, and I can say the same thing goes for borerdlands there are alot of things you can miss if you don't put in the time and effort, just look at Darksydephil's playthrough

  • I like fallout 3 because you have more of a choice over what you do and there is a neat sense of loneliness and a great storyline on the other hand borderlands has amazing guns, cool level system, but nothing depends on what you do and you cant really talk to people and it is easier to find quests

  • @giggleincorporation cool nothing against ya

  • Personally i prefer fallout 3. Its just got this more mysterious and dark theme to it, and i love that. Don't get me wrong borderlands is epic but in fallout 3 i think you have a better feel that you are who you want to be and what you do effects the story immensly. Its just more fun to me =)

  • @Olie23231 cool that's good it's your opinion

  • fallout 3 is better and u know it

  • nope it's not

  • yup, it is

  • No it's not I don't care borderlands is actually a great game and in my opinion better

  • i agree, in a nut shell borderlands is much more fun to play , the fighting/shooting is way better than fallout. fighting in fallout is more like a game of tag , you shoot him then he shoots you back. borderlands is more like hold on to your ass and kill them all or atleast take them to hell with you. Also the characters in borderlands are more unique , fallout they are generic even with the customizing they still look pretty much the same. good vid

  • how are the characters more unique? you get to pick like...4?

  • yup 4...that look and act completely different. In fallout you get to pick like...1. I mean in fallout you can pick a guy and give him red hair or black hair....wow.

  • can you make the characters whatever you want them to be and look like on borderlands? no..? in borderlands you can find 2 million of guns that look the same..sound the same..but do different damage! woo! borderlands will be 4.99 in a few months after release...i can guarantee it..also..fallout 3 doesn't have shitty cell shaded graphics...also you can kill whomever you want...can you do that in borederlands? yes i know i spelled it wrong..

  • You can't kill everyone you want, there are characters you can't kill in F3. Borderlands you can change your character to be more of a certain build such as tank, healer or blah blah blah. it's been 3 months Boarderlands is still 59.99 new at game stop and has just come out with it's SECOND DLC PACK

  • and thats like...2 people in fallout that you cant kill only because they are important to the storyline. something borderlands doesn't have...a storyline...and fallout 3 has five very sucessful DLCS. but im not going to E- battle you over video games. good day.

  • @quagmiregiggityclan6 you already did E-battle me.....by responding to the comment even if it was one it's E-battling and I can name 20 people in fallout 3. and you clearly haven't played borderlands cause it has a storyline but unlike most games you can actually ignore it by not reading

  • i just want to wish every one a merry christmas games fo life

  • omg! both games are awsome! but....Fallout 3 GOTY is a little better then borderlands because it just has more skills more stuff to do and bigger place....yet more guns on borderlands but the world doesnt seem that vast....both r good games im lvl 30 on fallout 3 and lvl 50 on borderlands cya online!!! i play ps3

  • @xXAmberXxable not really bigger in size borderlands actually is bigger by atleast 2 to three times then all of fallout 3(including DLC) what makes it seem so small is the fact you can travel around on the catch a ride(so you can travel 10 times faster) do all the missions on Borderlands you can(aka the ones that don't need a vehicle like the Mad Mel and when you first jump the ramps) on foot and tell me if that dosen't make you change

  • blah "change your mind"

  • u gott admit though Fallout 3 does have a better story and more skills but besides that fallout 3 is better

  • @xXAmberXxable ....no that's OPINION the story and gameplay of boarderlands rather more original in style execution and the depth of it's story if you care to read the text that accompanies each quest you get deeper story in boarderlands and actually it might be deeper then that in fallout 3 the only difference between the two is that they have fully recorded audio in fallout 3 which helps you pay more attention.

  • i wish you could create a character from scratch on borderlands

  • that didn't really seem unbiased... but im getting both anyway. because FO3 already has a goty edition, and me and my friend will be getting borderlands around Christmas, so we can play together and be in the same part of the story.

  • never said it was.... that the thing I'm not a press member I'm a video game player, I like boarderlands more but both are still worth the full price

  • fallout 3

  • yes. It is sweet ! the slowmotion fx is fine, but there should be an option to skip, if you have an intense battle going on.. otherwise borderlands doesn't even an option,, kind of boring shoot'em..well let's see...

  • I'd like ONE quicksave option.

  • im realy confused on wat to get.

i know there the same but wich is more fun

  • it's what fits your style, I would say boarderlands if you don't like depressing stories and lots of guns along with the fact if you want you can play multiplayer either with some one or over the internet or just lan party(two systems with max of 2 people on each system)

If you want a deep rich through out story with decent voice acting but really depressing story and really depressing ending(if you don't get the Broken steel DLC which changes it slightly), fallout 3 is the way to go

  • @KanameTousen Whaaaat? borderland's ending made you feel like youve been kicked, in the nuts, and bitched slapped. by an angel. Wtf? idk i felt happy saving many people in the wastes, while in borderlands (SPOILER GODDAMMIT!!!!) you see the whole games plot close in your face, after fighting an alien crazy monster which took all my ammo and took me an hour to beat. i was really tired of the game by then.

  • @yowo123 It didn't make me feel like any of those things it was a logical conclusion everyone get's to strung up about epic endings when you did see what was in the vault....just wasn't what LEGEND(keyword) told.

I diss game reviews because everyone uses that as the base to whether or not a games better than another instead of actually playing them both and see which one they enjoy more. For me it was borderlands. It's like Alan Wake (metacritic 83) vs Heavy Rain(87), you might enjoy alan more.

  • @KanameTousen nah alan wakes story was good, but its gameplay wasnt to great, i like heavy rain more.

  • @yowo123 See but someone might like Alan Wake more

  • @yowo123 See but someone might like Alan Wake more

  • @yowo123 I mean that as in people might like the one with lower review scores better

  • other things to think about are if you like a final fantasy level up system where your characters aren't effected directly by stats but by equipment which is boarderlands style

or do you like the level up system of say D&D cause you can put stat points into whatever you wish and effect your character more then your equipment which is fallout 3s

  • @rghoeksma get them both... they are equally the best games ever.

  • they are very different.. but get borderlands

  • I didn't really like Borderlands, mainly cause i only played single player, but i find Fallout more enjoyable.

  • Did you go off a character your play style fits? or what you though might be cool? cause if you played a character that's not really your style (DSP played Roland, he should have choose sniper cause he's a sniper) it makes it more fun. cause it's not about the multi-player on borderlands and if you think it is you've been mislead however it dose expands the way you play.

as long as your not going by just reviews or graphics I have no problem with you. unlike the idiot below

  • PS3 sorry man. but it allows me to make the fairest comparison on both especially fallout 3 since I got the supposedly most buggy version though I only got a few problems every version had(getting stuck on the G.O.A.T test, some audio/text skips, the dead bodies twitching on the ground)

  • Fallout 3... If you really want an actually comparison, go to wiki for both games and look at the rating. Fallout 3 is generally getting a higher rating.

  • reviews are peoples opinion that's all... peoples OPINION.... highly respected people that a majority agree with but still just an opinion...then again fallout 3 is a big name series made by a big name company with hit after hit while borderlands developers is best known for the brothers in arms series and half-life porting to the ps2 as well as various compilations and porting for PC and consoles. some of the reviews are utterly atrocious and simple on both sides

  • Well tbh. Most of borderland is just weapon grinding. Not to mention, it's like a consistent pattern to what ratings borderland is getting roughly about a 86%. If anything because fallout 3 is a big company people would have higher expectations for that game. Fallout 3 also won about 4 or 5 awards in 08. I doubt that borderland will get any.. Generally the reviewers that review games, aren't a single peerson. There's plenty of different reviewers to get an unbiased review.

  • and you would be wrong...especially with the reviewer being more then one person IGN is one person pre review just like other sources the only source I know that had multiple people working on the final score is Famitsu which is 4 people giving up to 10 out of 10 equaling up to 40. fallout 3 came out pretty unchallenged compared to borderlands which is facing dragon age, mass effect 2, ff13 as well as MW2, Halo ODST and etc, yeah it's not going to win anything against those hyped up megahits.

  • if you look at fallout 2 then look at fallout 3 you can see why it got half the 100s and 10's and 5 out a 5s cause it progressed the series in a great direction taking old elements and giving them a huge make over. boarderlands dosen't have that other gearbox games(though it is the best gear box game when looking at it's concept originality and everything), however like I said REVIEWS ARE OPINIONS at the end of the day not fact and that is FACT! and if you want to claim it as fact you're wrong

  • The lowest review scores for borderlands seems like the picked it up for five minutes and said "oh well this is boring" and put it down like the onion who said "Finally, a videogame with the balls to depict the generic post-apocalyptic wasteland as it really will be: utterly boring and lifeless." dose that seem like a good review of borderlands? or game critics who said "the overwhelming focus on grinding and gun-collecting can't carry the entire game, in either co-op or single-player."

  • You made a point during the video where you said, oh once your doing playing the campaign you can't go back. But in borderland you can make a new character and discover new guns.

I've played threw fallout 3 twice, once just doing whatever I wanted and the other time talking my way threw the game. You wouldn't believe how many new things I had found. When I started playing it the second time, I had found all sorts of new things, bobbleheads, weapons. I had the time of my life.

  • in fallout 3 you can go through the game and finish it 100% and while you go back you might make different story choices or choose to kill this guy just cause you though he was a douche but it's still going to end with you either going in,walking away or sending the chick in however the game bends to your playstyle. in borderlands you can go through with brick get to level 50 and start over again with roland and be forced to play differently and find different guns(except first red box)

  • We'll now there's game addons for fallout 3, that continue the storyline. There was over 200 different endings for the original game, and I'm not even sure how many there are for the expansions.

Pretty much borderland is a shooter/rpg that allows you to find new things each time you play threw it.

  • 1 for each expansion since each expansion is just one main mission that ends and dosen't actually have a physical ending movie..... the endings are not really true endings they're about 12 second clips of audio with one picture...if you ever beat the game you'd know that there are 500 different combos of those you can get most are for completing side missions. only 1 contuines fallout 3's story the other are side quest.... you just showed you have no ground to speak in this arugement

  • you need to do your research especially since Borderlands has had DLC for about a week now. which also adds on to both story with a wacky line of side quest and just pure content. however if you look at what we both said what's better playing the same game over again with slightly different endings you can look up? or playing the game and finding new weapons and equipment each time you play through it?

  • Alright dude, I'm not going to fucking argue with you. It's just your opinion. I'll stick with the ratings. Fallout 3 > Borderland.

  • too bad you already did retard... and your even more so by going off ratings

  • too bad you already did? That wasn't an Argument that was a discussion. Fail

  • you were trying to prove the point that the ratings aka peoples opinion was the reason why the games was better when I was saying it's not ...when people are defending what they stated cause the other person dosen't agree or opposes it like I oppose your though process that ratings= better game that is called an ARGUMENT. so infact you fail. look up the definition of argument.
