You can see he does like her and treats her like a favored packmate. Betting they're best buddies now and get into all sorts of trouble together :D

Why vs Oliver if you don't let him play? He was constantly watching you and looking sad and what you do is confusing and not good especially that you made him look at a bowl. Bad enough the dog suffers as your attention is now going towards your child and not him anymore. Don't think that if it's looks funny to you (because you teach your girl how to play with a bowl) seems funny to all of us. Animals are very fragile... Be happy that you have such an amazing animal.
Wow people get a grip, Layla is an infant in this video if I let the Oliver go nuts he could hurt her. She was learning to crawl in the video, hence the need for the ball. She would crawl to the ball. Oliver was in the room for our video and got in on the action a bit. It wasn't a game that actually pitted Layla against Oliver, and for the love of crap he took it and ran with it in the end. Please get over it, I just thought it was a cute video of my daughter to share with friends and fam.

He is 5, and he is great with our now 15 month old daughter. He is quite high strung when he first meets new people but after about a minute he's calmed down. Frenchies are great, shed a bit more than expected, but other than that he's very low maintenance and just wants to be around his people and play a bit. We are big fans of this breed!
It seems the baby doesn't care for the ball, but she cares for the attention of the dad. She wants the "yay!" clap clap clap which he rewards her when she gets the ball. The dog wants the ball though.
