  • my brother jason burrows played tug o war with a poloroid picture with another kid during this song thrown out buy stage crew at concert in fresno california...jason ended up with it.

  • good song

  • LOL the drummer looks like that old VJ from MTV with that same curly mullet... I think i'll shit when I start seeing Mullets in Northern Cali start popping up. Never had one, never would. OK.. I did a little LOL

  • Great vocals! It really rocks from the very first note!

  • yay, take my picture too!!

this band made me realize that the baby boomers were fucked and their music had to die off sooner or later.

  • @cryptsub Your a fucken Idiot to make a statement like that.

  • @wimp1948 Learn to spell you fuckin' idiot.

  • @cryptsub - Baby boomers??? This was the early 80's. What are you talking about?

  • @LanceATL A baby boomer is a person who was born during the demographic Post-World War II baby boom and who grew up during the 1960s and 1970s.

  • @cryptsub - Actually, The Boomers were born between the end of the war and early 60's. So, wouldn't the majority of them be in their 30's by the time this hit the charts?

  • @LanceATL 1951 - Rindy Ross born 1951 - couldn't find Marv Ross' birthday. To be fair, all the first generation punks were boomers too.

  • @cryptsub - If you are into punk, I can understand why you wouldn't dig this. It's a whole different animal. But to be fair, Quarterflash knew their craft and "Harden My Heart" is still a standard 30 years later. Not bad for a soft rock band from Portland.

  • I remember when they were called seafood mama

  • 3:43 is sooo COOL! Who ever got that picture was very lucky

  • no one will EVER BE LIKE PAT!!!!

  • @musicman73856 - Agree! Benatar Rocks like no other.

  • God, those were the days...makes me sad to think how much time has passed since these great songs were popular. I miss Quarterflash and the Motels, etc. If only I didn't know now what I didn't know then. *sigh*

  • Rindy Ross rocks!

  • When the first album came out I thought she was going to be the next Pat Benatar. After the 2nd album didn't sell well, they just faded away.

  • Q buena canción, la habre escuchado un par de veces en mi vida, pero me marco. Eso es rock del bueno de los 80´s.

    Gracias por postearlo.

    Salud

  • Rindy sharing lead vocals with guitarist Jack Charles. If anyone has video of Jack singing "Critical Times" please post.

  • I saw them at opryland on a little stage mabey 20 people stopped to watch, they had one or two songs out . during this song she handed me a poloroid camera and I took a pic of her , then she took a few more..I still have the picture somewhere !

  • My favorite song of theirs. I don't know that it appeared on any albums... just in concert. Certainly not on their most popular album

  • I caught these cats up in Fairbanks Ak,back in 1983. She was one MILF.

  • I don't know who the lead singer is, but she's multi-talented and sexy as can be. I can't believe someone that good wasn't given more of a push by whatever company they were under contract to. Nowadays the record producers force feed us talentless pieces of fuck like Britney Spears, who can't even lip synch her own material with any skill, or soft core porn performers like Christina Aguilara. No wonder music sucks these days.

  • Her name is Rindy Ross.

  • I agree that there are far superior performers than most of today's crop, but credit where credit is due, Christina Aguilera is a phenomenally talented singer.

  • @ibebetn Her name is Orinda "Rindy" Ross. I disagree with you about Spears and Aguilera; they have talent (especially Aguilera; nobody can wail like her), but Rindy is certainly far more respectable.

  • @ibebetn - They sold a couple million of records in the early 80's. They had plenty of push.

  • @ibebetn

WELL SAID! You took the words straight from my lips and I couldn't agree with you anymore if I tried too. This was in an era of talent and no BS, just straight forward music! Long live my era, the 80's!

  • Oh! This is so excellent!!!!

    Thanks for the memories!!
