  • poor clutches in the differentials

  • Traction control(ASR) cuts power, that wont help in this situation but get u stuck. But turning off the ESP and ASR it allows the vehicles wheels to SPIN Freely getting the vehicle out.

  • Use twigs to gain traction

  • boys and toys

  • you need traction control (TCS) in that situation.

  • guys like these are about to buy kia and hyundai

  • Quattro best

  • turn the fucking wheel stupid

  • Don Stupido!!

  • awd is a must for bad weather conditions. This is why I like Audi's

  • io penso ke sia l'asr ke disinserisci e no l'esp

  • that is an audi a6..not a mud truck or a q7....and esp is an electronic STABILITY protection not a thing that takes you out of the mud;;;) por audi...

  • @davidutzu011 EPS regulates your traction with the surface all the time even when accelerating as we see here. ESP actually prevents the wheels from spinning causing the car to go nowhere. In this case ESP sucks.

  • @mkrmec actually esp has nothing to do with traction. It helps maintain the stability of the car under breaking and cornering by sending braking power to the specific wheels that need it at the time, even if you´re not on the breaking pedal. Mostly the esp comes with a traction control though, which stops the wheels from spinning, They are still completely different systems.

  • @davidutzu011 electronic stability program. esp includes trc, which tries to keep maximum traction possible; in some cases it can get you out of mud, but in this case it went better with esp turned off :)

  • @davidutzu011 That's why you can turn it off... I do it all the time in snowy conditions. My A6 4.2L goes everywhere I've been so far, and I've been in some pretty heavy conditions. The height (from the ground) of the car is higher than many think, it's surprisingly good 'off road'. You just turn off ESP and floor it, it will climb up a tree =;)

  • floor it threw there pussy

  • Me and my bronco would go over that Audi and through mud and keep on going, without the 4x4

  • Comment removed

  • Just need a bit of power and the electronic will make this car get out.

  • next time drive fast

  • nu are nici o treaba esp-ul cu ce e in filmulet

  • so? it is better with ESP OFF? :S

  • @Gluvich of course, even in the handbook it says "to start in snow, press the ESP OFF button". Electronic Stability Control is so you don't loose grip in sharp turns *on asphalt*.

  • Encapsulation Security Payload, motherfuckers!

  • samotret protivno//////////////ffffffffffffffffffffff audi huze nekuda

  • Before making some obsurd comment about how the driver sucks or the audi a6's traction control systme suck, you should know this. Stability Control is NOT designed to work well in mud. When driving in mud the one think you need is lots of wheel spin, the very thing ESP is designed to pervent. Thats why,in it's mud setting, land rover's terrain response system turns off the stabilty control and locks the diffs. So does the system in the new explorer.

  • hondas can do that

  • ...continued, "ESP" is the most advanced of these systems so the system is labeled as such. However, ESP, ASR, and EDL are all piggybacked from Boschs ABS, and would not exist (or function) without it. ABS arrived in the 70s, EDL and ASR the 80s, ESP the 90s. In foul weather, ESP/ASR is designed to be "turned off" to gain motion from a rest and then re-activated once momentum has been gained. IT WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE, drive with it engaged.

  • @Mieden Only bad drivers require ESP or any traction control systems. I have actually almost gotten into accidents because of overreactive ESP programs in RWD cars.

  • ...continued, When "ESP" button is pressed, ESP/ASR is not actually shut-off. The torque reduction function of ASR is shut-off, therefore allowing the wheels to spin freely . At this point, ANOTHER set of baked-in algorithms comes into play, called EDL (electronic differential lock). EDL applies the brakes selectively "across an axle" to apportion power side to side like a locked differential. This provides stable, even acceleration and is what you just witnessed in this video. Continued...

  • "ESP" is an electronic system, run off of ABS sensors, that controls yaw moments. Bosch ESP also contains baked-in ASR (acceleration slip regulation) algorithms to prevent wheels from spinning excessively during acceleration (aka, advanced traction control). When "ESP" is on, ASR is also active. ASR controls individual brakes to "stop" spinning wheels, and also adjusts the throttle to "match engine torque to available traction". If no traction, then no torque. Continued...

  • Its called "momentum"...Learn how to use it next time ya dick.....

  • @bmw6line: try comparing apples with apples...

Put the same kind of tires on any SUV and THEY WILL GET STUCK!!

I drove out of shitty weather (snow storms, icy rain, icy roads) with my A4 that the jeep and the 4matic of my friends couldnt even get trough.

Before hating on something, try it for yourself

  • This traction system isnt as smart as i thought

  • @bmw6line That's a load of nonsense. At the end of the day, if there's no grip to be had, no amount of traction control will help. All traction control does is make the best use of any available grip, but if there's none available, you're buggered either way. At the end of the day it's not a Land Rover and even if it was, it would still get into trouble if it didn't have appropriate tyres. That's why many Land Rovers have chunky tyres with aggressive & deep tread patterns etc.

  • @richoverip you are right indeed. even that looks like the 4 tyres doesnt run at the same time it uses only 2 until start spiinning. may be a full time 4x4 would be better there. also bit more speed helps

  • better off withought esp lol

  • Sounds nice, the 4.2 v8?

  • sport quattro s1 would have made it through without trying, but thats a shitty comparison^^ the A6 did quite well

  • Audi Best...

  • well really all a 4x4 has over a 4 wheel drive car is ground clearance, which is one of the reasons your stuck here

  • There, all u had to do was to floor it

  • you are an idiot, sir

  • i have done way better in a 2wd 88 oldsmobile the key is momentum and steady foot

  • i love the engine! <3

  • Quattro in an A6 is meant for traction and safety on the road. Not for mudding...

  • But Why?? A8 is a limusine not of-road truck.

  • ONLY TOYOTA LAND CRUISER:) not audi Q7,,,,

  • there just inst egough ground clearence

  • co za asy!

  • in deep snow or mud or sand.... you have to turn off the ESP.... the tires need to spin.

  • BA3 2107 FTW!

  • wrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmm haha good good wrrrrrmmmmmm finish

  • its the driver not the car If he gave it more gas it would of power right out the first time

  • @bigdi77 With the ESP turned on it wount allow more RPMs than that, it brakes the wheels and cuts the power.

With it turned off you can give it more RPMs and therefore distribute more power through out the wheels. Thats how the quattros torsen differentials work.

  • ESP der heilige Knopf

  • YOUR FUCKING ASSHOLE ESP DONT USE FOR THAT, YOU NEED A GOOD TRACTION CONTROL SISTEM , NO A ESP

  • @rody000

    lmao ur fukn stoned partner.

  • @rody000 - ESP and "traction control" use the same exact computers in the car... it's just a different program.. that's why to turn them both off on a car you use the same button.

  • @rody000

Yeap i was wrong ... its the same sistem....

    sorry men :P

  • busted fagot

  • beautiful car

  • Now I know why I may need to swich off the ESP.

  • lool driver

  • Fail!

  • maybe if you didnt stop as soon as you got in it, and dont be scared to hit the gas

  • poooor audi:((

  • @davidutzu011 poor driver...audi have low suspension and mud is deep for this car

  • @davidutzu011 thats exactly what i was thinknlol

  • Think u need an Allroad...

    Nive Vid! :-)

  • Only Audi Q7

  • I dont like Allroad, a want Audi Q7

  • @malderdmps - you are better off with the allroad. It's more efficient.. it has a suspension that can be raised to clear things the Q7 can... but the most of time - you get the benefit of a lower center of gravity.

  • @malderdmps it would have done the same if u step full gas with esp on..paproboui adin ras i skazi!

  • time for a benzz

  • good quatttro, a fwd or rwd car for sure need help of a tractor.

  • No tire for muds !!It's normal
