i love in this game how you can always ave aerial combat. but one queston...i've not yet got the game so can anyone tell me how exactly the damgeing system goes? i cant understand it..usually it's just hit one time and that's how much hp damage is done..when i see the bars i think those are the hp but then i see hp at the bottom of the bars any tips?
The large number at the top of the bars is your Brave count. The number below the bars is the HP. Brave is pretty much your attack power. Your normal (Brave) attacks sap Brave points from your opponent and adds it to your total count. An HP attack will do HP damage proportionate to your Brave. Successfully landing a Brave attack resets your Brave to zero, leaving you vulnerable to a Break. Break Mode occurs whenever one's Brave hits below zero.
The one who inflicts Break will gain the Brave points in the Brave Pool (the number between the bars). Those in Break cannot inflict HP damage until their Brave rises back to its default count. Some HP attacks deal multiple hits that cause Brave damage (Ex: Cloud's Omnislash V5) that build up on Brave before the final blow which causes the actual HP damage to occur
Dissidia butchered characters and the story. Cloud wasn't emo in FF7, he just didn't give a fuck but still cared about his teammates, and he actually opened up after Tifa fixes up his mind. Terra wasn't an "I CAN'T DO ANYTHING BY MYSELF" person in FF6 once she learned to control her powers. The dialogue in this whole game is cheesy and painful to read. Have you even played other FF games?
You are as obnoxious as they get... I am basing my opinion on the experience of the game itself. You shouldn't assume what I have played and haven't either. I've played every FF game cept 2, 5 and 9. The game gives great dilemmas for each individual character. It is the dilemmas that give the game a good story. Sure it may be confusing for those who have never played the FF games before, but it is very enjoyable to look at how each character develops. Don't be a douchebag ;)
do you have to finish of the opponet with a special attack?

Cloud seems to be the wisest one among the 4. HE's questioning their objective and that's a good thing.
Cecil has yet to be enlightened but is on the verge he doesn' t seem to know what's right or wrong.
Tidus has a good reason for fighting but doesn't look past his own selfish needs.
I admire Firion because he's struggling the most to understand what they're fighting for.
Great Dilemmas Great gameplay Great Story
