I can understand why this fight can be considered hard. IF you do not realize or even know you are actually able learn not only more than one, but up to 9 jump commands, this fight is damn near impossible. Spamming triangle when he does his attacks so that you have plenty of jumps is the key to winning this battle. Guarding doesn't hurt, too. You can actually guard his attack and have a little time left over to use the Learn command. You can't guard EVERYTHING, though, so don't rely on it.

dont think im crazy for thinking this but...the only two people that I had a hard time beating were xaldin and of course sephiroth, but come on who didnt have a hard time fighting sephiroth =P

you know, i read alot of complaints people put on how hard Xaldin is. Once you figure him out, it is easy, learning Jump is the key. and yes his original name is Dilan. Awesome fight here, i enjoyed this one
well damn...it's still hard. I'm fighting him right now, second try, with one health bar left on him and he keeps doing the damn spear dragon thing! Can't get a good combo in on him, and Beast and Daffy keep dying on me!
I knoticed the organization has an x in each of their names, and if you take it out and match it up. it makes some names. Xaldin may just be Dilan. lol. just thinkin'. nice fight too
