GREAT VIDEO JIM! You always have awesome videos! :D Great job on the healthy lifestyle! The weight will come so like you said don't get too down and just make the appropriate adjustments. Great job on the 15m bike ride after mowing! Remember LIFE CHANGE so you are doing awesome and looking awesome! Hope to hear from you soon buddy!
Hey man, I watched every one on your videos about a month ago and have been checking in on you for updates. To correct chrissept21 muscle is Not heavy. 1 lb of fat weighs as much as 1 lb of lean mass. However Jim, muscle is about 16-22% more dense. Therefore muscle takes up less space. Do not only measure your fitness progress by using your bathroom scale! Whether you are gaining or losing weight, the best indicator of your progress is achieved by measuring your body fat percentage. con't below
Even if the bathroom scale reads the same over a period of time, you may be losing unwanted body fat and replacing it with healthy muscle tissue! Which is obviously happening with you as your abilities has increased significantly. Remember you've had significant losses so far and now it may have plateaued. The muscle you have gained will help to burn the fat that remains. Don't lose heart. Keep Pushing Play! Sorry this was so long but this was the very 1st time I felt compelled to reply!
I have to add in there take your measurements! Your P90X program will tell you where to measure and its best to keep track of these results as even if the scale doesnt move I guarantee you are losing inches. If you need anything please remember you can contact me and I will help you anyway I can!
I've watched your videos for the past hour or so and really enjoy them. I'm about to get started on the P90 program next week, then the 90X program after that. I know you've been concerned about the weight loss plateau you've hit. Have you tried changing up the actual exercises you're doing? Maybe incorporate some swimming or other cardio into your weight loss program instead of only biking or walking? Just a thought. You've helped to motivate me with your videos, so keep going!! :)
Congrats on losing some weight and making it this far in the challenge. Also good for you for teaching your son about healthy eating, when I see someone buying something bad for a kid especially an overweight one I just want to tell them they are only hurting their child. Anyway good luck buddy!
Great vid, Jim! You are such a wonderful role model for your son. Your positivity and kindness is most awesome. It is super he is learning at such a young age what is healthy. Congrats on the lbs lost this week and the incredible 15 miles - yikes!
Your son is amazing! You are amazing! I can't belelive you mowed lawns and THEN biked 15 miles. Honey, I can'hardly drag my fat ass around the block. Bravo!! Applause, applause! :-)
Your son is awesome!! A star in the making. He's using tablespoons and not teaspoons! I hope you can handle that spicey pizza! :-)
Honey in Pizza??? I'll have to try this!! It looks SO tasty. OMG - 15 miles of biking??? You poor thing! I guess this is what happens when you ask your son. LOL. We agree at the end xx
<3!!! You son is awesome! He looks like a little rocker! :) His pizza looked... interesting :) It's great that he is interested in learning about healthier habits! GOOD JOB on mowing 4 yards... THEN riding 15 miles on your bike!! GEEZ! :)
Wow I can't believe you don't love Spinach and Zucchini on your pizza. Ever since I had it I can't make pizza with out. Pumpkin is awesome too. I use a veggie peeler and shave them though.
I love your mini Chef, Where can I order one :)
Can you weigh yourself on a Hydro/Fat % scale and see if their are any changes in your Body Fat %
I am thinking that you are eating too LITTLE, not too much... going from your food video, you are eating ~900 calories/day? And that is really, really little. that could be destroying your metabolism. Just a thought <3
WOW that homeade BBQ sauce looks great :o) Great job Getting your son involved and its so cool that he is learning so much from your journey :o) Great job you 2 !
Hey u. You make videos right? ;)

Great video. Have you been watching the liquid calories as well as those from solid foods? They can really sneak up on you if you aren't careful.
