  • Bammmm its a all a fucked upa LOL

  • I just buy lower control arm for my 04 civic. Cost me US$ 101,-

  • Nice rust on those stabilizer link,...

  • The LCA on those new models are easier to get off if rusted than the older model civic. lucky u.

  • Were do you get Honda genuine parts from?

  • @thecartel360 We have a local honda dealer, or you can check honda parts cheap

  • how come you didnt show the part where you broke the ball joint lose with the pickle fork..thats where im stuck at right now.

  • omg ive been looking for this answere forever i got into an accident and my tire is bent back towards the fender! do you think its my lower control?

  • I did that to my 2000 Accord except it was dry and I bent the Cradle, the rim, control arm, the sway bar, deployed the side airbag, ruined all the tires and broke an engine mount. Ya Im a dumb teenager learned an expensive lesson though.

  • My mechanic said my car's suspension is ruined. It is a civic with 145,000 miles and he says I should start by replacing the front and rear lower control arms. Do you agree? You seem like and expert.

  • Hmm... The pickle fork is the best way, you risk damaging the ball joint if you beat on the threaded part, It would probably be best to buy a fork, they should be pretty cheap at a autozone type store.

  • @JoeSchlubb They'll even rent one to you.

  • Do u have to use a pickle fork to remove the ball joint from the control arm? is there any other way too do it without it?

  • @sweetashonneybaby Never, ever use a pickle fork to separate the lower arm ball joint. Not only will it tear your ball joint rubber boot which protects the joint from water and contamination, the strong banging of the pickle fork wil most likely damage the ball joint itself. The correct tool is the " ball joint lifter " Search this on the Amazon website & you will get to see what it looks like. It uses gradual force by tightening a bolt to separate the joint. It can also be used for the tie-rod.
