  • Oh you are wonderful! thank you for this, you have solved the mystery :) I practised this with some embroidery thread using a two colours, pale green for the main threads and a darker one for tieing the knots so that I could get the hang of it and it sunk in ... thank you again (((((((((((hugs)))))))))))

  • It looks great and easy to follow but how do you start it? It doesn't show the first few knots...unless I keep missing it.

  • @randys42 the first knots are just square knots. she started the tutorial so far down on the string so it would be easier to see what shes doing

  • thats not a square knot.... this is a cobra stitch

  • @GeordieBiker422 . Don't where u got that info from. All designers include Authors call it spiral or half knot, never heard of cobra. I have been doing macrame for 4 yrs!!
