The wrag trick didnt work for me :( I used a size 19 spanner (uk size.. dunno if they're diff in the U.S) and slid it behind the handle and gave it a little tap with my hand and it popped off. Juts wanted to say incase any one else was finding it a problem :( my car is a vauxhall astra 1997.
the question is how can I remove my driver side door panel to fix my speaker installed in my bed room? Should I fix that speaker in my bed room without removing the door panel of my Xterra?
that plastic you are moving at 4:02 is it really necesary to keep it there? Because i got my self a powerfull set of speakers, and since then i think the plastic inside "woobles" like a flag, and the sound and bass sounds crappy, so im thinking taking it off.
@xperiencelus That is in the panel as a soundproof shield to keep the sounds of the road and the wind while your driving to a minimum. You could take it out but its going to be a bit more noisy.

KEEP THAT "PLASTIC" ON THERE!! lol it keeps the moisure out of your door pannel.. and your door speakers.. if you rip that out your panel is going to get wet. and it will ruin your speakers if you dont have baffles.. soo for future refrence... let the piece of "plastic" on your door..
I got Monsoon component speakers in my VW Jetta. They are so precise and have great frequency response. When I put a subwoofer in, I didn't even bother to upgrade my head unit or speakers because of the 6-cd changer and the quality of the speakers.

excellent video, but how do you remove the window winder is it a special tool cuz i cant get it of on my own car, i know it's a clip that is holding the winder....plz help
@FaggotDogg nope no special tool. in this video i just used a piece of rag. all that holds it on is a C clip so you take the rag and slide it in behind the cranker on the open end of the C and wiggle it back and forth like you were cleaning out behind there and the clip should pop out.

there led neon so there a little tougher and i have them put in places where they cant rlly get crushed accept the front tube which got smashed when i went through a ditch that tube got pulverized! lol

haha . i purposefully went through the ditch but i miss judged it a little and hit it kinda hard and when the front wheels dropped into the ditch the front end of the truck smashed into the ground. oh well. good luck with your speakers
yeah that didnt last too long i got my door panel off really easily but crutchfield said that my truck took 5 1/4 speakers in the front door but when i took the panel off its definitely a 6x8 so i talked to them and their gonna send me a new set that will fit and split the difference in cost with me and they'll pay for shipping both ways.....best website ever
yeah their pretty good about that kindve stuff and im pretty impressed that my ranger has 6x8's in the front and back not sure yet whether or not ill buy a sub but ive already found one that the i want

@xperiencelus its some sort of vapor seal. mine lost its stickyness and i got sick of it so i ripped it out not too long ago

@xperiencelus The plastic prevent water to enter the inner side off the door. So removing it will cause alot of corosion and water damaged speakers..

it was actually an old sock. i edited out the part where i cut it to make it smaller the whole sock was too big to fit behind the crank
