  • speak up man

  • not everyone has a mac so be specific next time

  • Can´t go past step 1! I do not have the options you show in this video!

  • @evil1182 Try using Picsa to rotate your video.

  • My video from iPhone to my pc is upside down. When I open it in QT in plays normally. I then save it and open it up in another media player and or email and it's still upside down. I even rotated it upside down and saved it and still, it's upside down. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

  • thanks a lot good video it helped me thanks!!!!

  • my quicktime 10 has none of the options you describe. first off, the registration option isn't even there so i can't really go past step 1. what's the deal?

  • If using Windows 7, just open the file in Windows Movie Maker, click rotate, and save :)

  • Speak bit louder would actually help my hearing... :/

  • WINDOWS SOLUTION:

I don't think iPhoto exists for Windows so this video is kind of pointless if you own that. My solution was opening Picasa, opening the video, hit rotate then Save. Simple!

  • @Zaetix Considering my channel is dedicated to Apple... that would make sense.

  • @MrMacMaster Yeah, you're right. I'll just delete the comment then, less views, less thumbs up. :D jokes

  • @MrMacMaster HEY THANKS AS OF TODAY 25/NOV/11 STILL WORKS SUBSCRIBED SUB ME TOO!!

  • @MrMacMaster Replace "computer" with "mac" and perhaps you're right.

  • @trickmast Channel descritpion clearly argues this for me.

  • @MrMacMaster

You are wrong.. accept it.. edit video description

  • @MrMacMaster

windows quicktime (pro) will do it! follow the same steps in the video... Thanks

  • @Zaetix Thanks man! I didn't know Picasa did anything with videos. You saved me $1 (didn't buy Rotate Video HD app).

  • how do you like.. actually open the quicktime player correctly?

  • 1:07 for the start

  • Oh, and go to Control Panel > Quicktime (32/64bit) and enter the info below vvvv

  • That's for Mac's. This is for PC's:

    Register Name: Dawn M Fredette

    Register Code: 4UJ2-5NLF-HFFA-9JW3-X2KV

Thumbs up so it can be seen!

  • @EdgarRBS I don't understand... there is no iphoto for Windows. your upgrade works but only for Quicktime Pro, which won't help me rotate videos =(

  • thanks MrMacMaster.

    works great!

  • @MrSpyder416 Glad this video helped you out!

  • i cant read the text can someone email me suki@telus.net thx!

  • how the fuck can a video which unabashedly gives a pirated serial number out stay up so long?

  • @sjaffe I'd probably just put it back up if it went down.

  • Hi, thanks for the video. When I open the Quick Time registration, (I have 7), it doesn't give me the option to save the code, what should I do?

  • Cheers m8 but for some reason quick time already has the video rotated correctly when I open the video in it. But when i open it in other players its on it's side?! I rotate it in quicktime anyway and save but it still doesn't change when i open it in other players or my editing software. Apple need to sort it out! Can't believe they make it this hard for people.

  • thanks!

  • @gustow No problem man, Im glad this helped you!

  • thanks for the video! Just a heads up for those who use Snow Leopard, the old Quicktime 7 is still in your utilities folder!

  • Great tutorial! Real life saver!

  • @randomratz Appreciate the appreciation!

  • Your video should be entitled:

'Rotate iPhone video on your MAC computer '.

On a PC there is no 'register' option within QT.

  • @acorntechnique Yes Sir, that would make sense.... but my channel is completely dedicated to Macs and other actual machines. I wouldn't dare post something about a PC lol.....

  • @acorntechnique Sure there is. You go to edit and preferences.

  • @acorntechnique Btw there is an option its under preferences...
